My favourite hotel in Hanoi so far. The location is close to Temple Literature, West-lake and Hoan Kiem lake... Staff team is extremely nice and helpful. Rooms are quite small but clean and I enjoy breakfast with hot serve to order.

We were brought to this hotel by the tour leader and we found that this hotel was quite good enough in its class. It's located in the busy area of Hanoi, so it's not so far to find anything. The service was fine.

Small hotel in a market lane with small shops. Restaurant on 10th floor with partial view of a small lake. Can walk to KFC, Pizza hut, cake shop, fruit shop nearby. Delicious local food at "Pho24" 200 mtrs ask for directions. Hanoi plenty of taxis. Tourist area Weekend Night Market near Huan Kim Lake need to take taxi 10 minutes.

A hidden treasure in a city of hidden treasures. The building was always spotless, the rooms even cleaner. The staff were friendly and affable, ever-willing to give travel or restaurant advice and call a taxi to take you to just where you needed. This is especially important if, like most tourists, you don't speak Vietnamese, and couldn't get the message...

I stayed at this hotel for several weeks as my group explored Hanoi and Vietnam, and the experience couldn’t have been better! Not only was my spacious room fabulous—with incredible views of Hanoi and the nearby park—but it was also fabulously priced. The room was very clean and comfortable, with heating/cooling, television featuring both English and Vietnamese-language channels (very fun!),...

I stayed at Ho Giam for a month of business in Hanoi, so I got to see this hotel in busy and in quiet times. First, the location is excellent: 2-minute walk from Van Mieu (Temple of Literature), 15-min walk to Train Station, 30-min walk to Old Quarter. If you don't like walking (always an adventure in Hanoi traffic...), taxis...

“Hotel is 9 floors high. All floors are quiet because the hotel is recessed away from any main street. Upper floors give good views. Elevator works fine, but central wide stairway is an attractive option if you want some easy exercise.”
