The hotel is definitely ok for one or two nights. The room was quite clean, furniture was a bit used and everything looked a bit old. As the streets around the hotel are very noisy, try to get a room facing the side street. The breakfast was quite ok, the Pho was good.
The hotel is situated close to the market. Is is a little bit old and has a kind of communistic atmosphere. The staff is very nice and helpful but not comfortable speaking English. The breakfast is a little bit strange and not the best. The rooms are nice. We enjoyed our stay…
The tour bus which I expected to pick me up at the hotel didn't come. I asked the receptionist what to do. He called the tour agent and it was resolved. If he weren't there, I couldn't have come back to Japan. Thank him!!
Very good location, central to many attractions. short walk to mosaic wall and heritage street. Hotel: good, Room:good, service:good. Breakfast was not so great, about 10 items but it was the same every day. Free wifi available. good signal strength.
Hotel is very clean for *** Hotel. Good customer service and good deal on the price. Staff and management give good information and advices for the tours. recommended for future visitors to book at this hotel.
"Rooms facing the side street are less noisy."
"Higher floor, better view"
"A room with a view of the Water gives a great view of city life , and is also not too noisy"
"Corner suite is fantastic with views of two quiet streets (Phan Dinh Phung) where important government official resides."
"Try and make sure you pay to have brekkie included here, especially if its your first time and you arent used to SE Asian fare, as its located in Old town, most restaurants and bars are vietnamese style more than western. The Hotel does a good brekkie"
