My husband had a conference in Hanoi and we chose Meliá hotel as it was the conference venue. It was our first time with the Melia group and we were not disappointed .
We booked the level premium and had access to the Level lounge on the 20th floor.
The staff in Melia were all very good and proactive.
We had a great time in the lounge and I want to specially thank the manager Mr Le Huu Tuan Anh.
He was just amazing and Melia is very fortunate to have him as the manager.I had a great time interacting with Ms Tu too.
We really enjoyed your hospitality .
We will surely be back .

We were visiting Vietnam to see my daughter who works in Ho Chi Min City for Fulbright University. Everyone said we had to see Hanoi. We flew VietJet a low cost carrier for $110 round trip. Great deal and only a two hour flight. My daughter had booked a AirBnB and when we arrived it turns out that it was not what we thought it would be be beyond the location in the Old Quarter it was not a great place. We went to a coffeehouse got on WIFI and booked two rooms in the Melia Hanoi for $99 each. This is a very nice hotel and we got very lucky that we were able to get a room. The hotel is in a great location and we could walk to many historic places. It is next door to a charming pedestrian street of book sellers and two blocks fro the Women's Museum which is a very nice way to understand Vietnamese culture and society. The hotel has three ATMs just off property for exchange. It has a really good coffee station in the lobby- although they do not have American Brewed coffee, Closest I could have was a traditional coffee press with cold whole milk on the side. The rooms were very comfortable, clean and not small. The hotel staff was very nice. The concierge Giap went above and beyond. He booked us a private driver and helped us arrange tickets to
The Quintessence of Tonkin (Hanoi) without the bus. The show is an hour from the hotel and is fabulous but it is a journey. A larger comfortable private car that cost $70 and was better then taking a bus and saved us an hour of time back and forth. I highly recommend this hotel. A safe bet for experiencing a wonderful city.

I, personally, can not fault the hotel as it was beyond my expectations. We were only due to stay there for three nights but we had still had the luxury of a very large twin bedded room with beautiful crisp white linen and really comfortable beds. All the staff were both pleasant and helpful if any questions needed to be asked.
The buffet breakfast .....well I don’t know where to start or, as a previous writer put it, where to finish! ......so much choice! I’m not a donut fan but the different varieties were all hung on a pegboard almost like a piece of modern art!
Unfortunately our holiday was cut short by a brief stay I had in the Hanoi French Hospital. During this time my friend was able to continue with the same room and the staff were only pleased enough to help her with phone calls, communication etc. I would love to go back to the Melia and complete the journey we had only just started.

The hotel is well located with most of the interesting areas nearby. The vibe is very much business oriented and has a typical international hotel chain appeal. Staff is helpful and friendly. Buffet breakfast offers a vast choice of asian and european food. Breakfast service staff is slow and not very service minded. We had a Grand Premium room which was fantastic and had great views, with a seperate living room, bedroom, guest toilet, large bathroom with double vanity, bathtub and walkin shower. Room is nicely furnished and decorated with lots of room for luggage. Swimminpool area is not nice, you can swim decently but the whole setting is not very much inviting to stay longer than absolutely necessary.
The hotel is a good choice for a few nights in Hanoi

Great central location with easy access to all attractions, open top us stop a few minutes walk down the road. The hotel is very clean with comfortable room. Staff were extremely professional, friendly and helpful. Good breakfast and room service. There is a brilliant Vietnamese Restaurant within a 5 minute walk, can’t remember the name but the hotel reception recommended it to us. I would definitely stay here again.

We were a family of 5 adults who booked three rooms over Christmas. We could not have been more delighted with our stay at the Melia in Hanoi. From check in to check out, everything was perfect. The staff are fantastic but especially Mr Huang Duy Khanh and Ms Nguyen T Thu Huyen in the Level. Outstanding service.

The tour desk was also great, they managed a last minute surprise Halong Bay cruise for two. Perfect choice of tour and boat.

The hotel rooms are spacious and well appointed, have great sound proofing and wonderful air conditioning. The bathrooms have a huge rain shower and lovely amenities. The rooms are kept spotlessly clean.

We had Christmas lunch with some Vietnamese friends here on Christmas Day and could not fault the delicious food and drinks.

The breakfast buffet was extensive with a great selection of western and Asian foods to choose from. I loved the fresh juice station!

We all can’t wait to return to this wonderful hotel.

The Melia is well-located, and rooms are large (if a bit dated). Beds are comfortable, breakfast is sumptuous, and the staff really try. A perpetual lack of English skills everywhere in Vietnam certainly extended to here - but management was happy to help us out. There was lots of construction noise in the hotel due to an elevator renovation and new buildings going up outside. Though we were disappointed that they put us into a loud room, management reacted and moved us right away. The lounge is actually quite nice and a lovely amenity. Note: the hotel definitely charges extra for a second person so be sure to book the right count.

Great location close to the old prison. Excellent clean rooms and pool area. Fabulous breakfast, you couldn’t ask for better! So why not 5 stars? Well we arrived off of a 5 am flight and got to the hotel at 6:30. Whilst we appreciate our room not being ready til 2 we were not offered a shower room or a breakfast or a WiFi code!! None of that was allowed until check in so the brekkie was US$25 each, bit pricey but is very good! Ate one night in hotel, food was very good but very expensive as were drinks! Staff great and would recommend.

Well located in central Hanoi, within walking distance of many of the sights of the city and the lake. Great views of the area from the 20th floor lounge.
Building works on a site close by was not a problem as the hotel has good soundproofing.
All staff members are very pleasant and helpful.
Very spacious and light lobby with good seating area.
Rooms are very comfortable with a window between bedroom and bathroom - closing the blind is optional!
Brilliant breakfast options, where to start or rather where to finish?

Originally staying for three nights either side of a trip to Ha Long Bay but ended up as a straight three day stay as Ha Long was cancelled due to coronavirus quarantine.

Modern high rise and centrally located with most attractions within walking distance. Obviously visited by world dignitaries by the photo’s in the lobby.

Breakfast buffet was good. Couldn’t really fault the hotel but found three nights in Hanoi was more than enough - bit too busy and smoggy for me!
