Location of the hotel is quite good, though quite a far walk to the Old quarter. There's many boutique small coffee houses, and many restaurants and eateries within walking distance from the hotel (about 8mins taxi ride). The hotel staffs are friendly and helpful, especially one of the concierge, who even remember my friend's name throughout our 4 days stay....

The thing that stands out for me about this hotel is the level of service provided by the staff. In other hotels ( especially in the Middle East) service is learned by rote. At the Hilton Opera they take it to another level by anticipating your needs. To cite only one example, I asked where I could buy batteries for...

This is a very nice hotel, it is in need of an upgrade but we knew this from the reviews before we booked. I think once the upgrade is done it will be a great hotel. Lovely small pool area to relax after hectic Hanoi touring. All staff were lovely except the lady at the tour desk who we felt...

Good location, v helpful staff, yummy breakfast & good location but in need of a spruce up. Our room was ok but nothing fancy and it all felt a bit tired & lacking in atmosphere. laundry etc v expensive for VN. The view is nice but the window is small so you can only see it when standing up

We were persuaded to stay here by a well-intentioned tour guide who told us the JW Marriott was too far away from the Old Quarter for sightseeing. I was disappointed when we saw the room, as it was not quite up to Hilton standards. However, we got a very good package and felt the value was excellent. The highlight, however, was...

For a short business trip with no hassles, the Hilton Opera is ideal. Plus you know you are in Hanoi the second you step outside. The Hanoi Opera next door and one of the more challenging confluence of Hanoi road crossings, should you fancy your chances as a pedestrian. The hotel itself has an impressive lobby and the room was...

Yes the carpet is a little tired but that's the only thing I could fault. We were superbly looked after and enjoyed a few games of pool in JJs bar. Good gym , spa and pool.
