I stayed here for 4 days on a solo leisure trip, with 2 nights under the Club room. The staff at the club lounge has been fantastic, including Mr Tien and Ms Hue. Their warm hospitality made me feel so at home. They greeted me by my name each time, and gave me many excellent recommendations for my itinerary during my short stay. If I’m ever back again, Pan Pacific Hanoi remains one of my top choice to stay!
It began the moment I landed, met and greeted warmly by the hotel's very pleasant limousine driver then very quickly led up to the lounge. Here I met Tien and then Linh, who were just outstanding in how they very professionally managed my 4 day itinerary-they went over and above what their role entailed ensuring every moment of my stay and visit to Hanoi was smooth, well spent and memorable. Tien was always there to greet me with a smile, asking after me and always ready to genuinely listen to and share in the little adventures I'd been on. Both he and Linh listened to every detail of how each tour I'd been on had been, as they'd played a huge part in planning for it, as they wanted it to go perfectly, and it all did, despite the weather we were experiencing, as Storm Mulan had brought on heavy showers, strong winds and cloudy skies. Yet this did not dampen any of my 4 days in Hanoi. Tien was constantly keeping me updated on what the weather was going to be like, as it constantly changed many times during the day. Linh introduced me to Cha Ca La Vong which I enjoyed on my first evening. Both she and Tien understood my wanting to try truly authentic Vietnamese dishes and even Tuan who served me breakfast made sure the Beef Pho I ordered had the herbs which added fragrance to the dish, giving it its unique taste. I met Tuan again on my last morning and he WOWED me with his soft, calm, patient manner serving every guest-he was genuine in wanting to make every guest happy. I joked how Day 3 started off with 4 T's-Tien, Tuan and the concierge and limousine driver whose names also started with T, making ita TERRIFIC day all the way o the end. Tien ensured the driver knew exactly what I wanted on the mini shopping hunt as they were not the usual items I am sure most tourists would shop for and the driver patiently helped me search for the items on my shopping list, braving heavy traffic and scarce parking lots and even accompanying me to the market. And when we got back T, the concierge was thrilled to see we had managed a successful shopping trip in the short time we had. Tien completed it by going out after his long day at work and returning with the last item on my shopping list. I was at a loss for words as he did that in his own time, sacrificing time he had been looking forward to spending with his family. I was surprised to learn that Linh was graduating on my 3rd day, as she struck me as being someone who had worked for a long time. Her professionalism and experience were excellent for a young graduate like herself. I will definitely return and will not think twice about recommending the Pan Pacific when staying in Hanoi. Everyone, including Hue whom I got to know better when Tien and Linh were away, were such warm, lovely people. There are others whose names I may not recall like the lady who greeted me at check-in in the lobby and the lady in the lounge who spontaneously checked out the time taken to travel to Ho Chin Minh not forgetting the splendid housekeeping team -all exceptionally outstanding and who will make Pan Pacific the place to return to. Very nice location and views. Very nice spread of breakfast buffet. They treat you really well if you book the club rooms which are newly renovated. The whole experience was good except the The Summit . The service was very slow. They did special effort to celebrate our anniversary which was very nice of them ,but we had to leave and go to some other restaurant for food because of slow service.

Pan Pacific is always the choice as a GHA member. Service was good with helpful and friendly staffs. Rooms were clean and well maintained, only if there’s more plug points in the rooms. Appreciated the room upgrade and late checkout offered for Platinum member. Experience at The Summit Bar was awesome too thou we missed the pretty night view due to rain.
Comfortable, clean, friendly staff, delicious food. We have good memories here. I choose a lake view room and it worthy. I regret that my child was ill so we couldn't try a rooftop bar. I will come back.
The room are very clean, Gym is fantastic , facilities are really in tip top condition. I would to mention Miss My, our customer service provide excellent service and she is really fast and helpful. Well done My, your service really make our stay very special. However, i think the hotel need to improve on the food of the Chinese restaurant.
Beautiful hotel. Very clean and comfortable with excellent service. Everything you could want or need was available there for you. The concierge, Dihn, was incredibly kind and helpful. He helped to arrange an excellent day tour for us to Halong Bay while staying there. We also utilized the pool, gym, and spa several times. All were excellent and very clean. We used the service Grab often to get wherever else we needed to go
Get a lake view room. It overlooks the city. The roof top bar summit has the best views in the city. Rooms are clean and nice. Staff are kind and helpful. Interesting note is our room had a an ancient artifact in a glass case from a ship wreck in the 1490s.
- Pros: very nice Pho and pastries, friendly hsk staff - Cons: + toothpaste in my room was out of date (2021 iso 2022) + AC flow for twin room bed goes straight to the bed next to window which can cause running nose next morning, can not adjust weaker + Not well-trained staff, staff tell a lie, do not send invoice to guest even though received all needed information when guest check out, untill now issue was not solved yet
