We stayed for several weeks in both Lucky 3 and Lucky Hotels, which are family-owned along with Lucky 2. Both are exceptionally well-located, well-run and clean establishments. Management and staff are friendly and helpful with a good level of English. An amply breakfast is

This was the first place we stayed in Vietnam. Even making allowances for cities being more expensive this hotel priced itself at a higher standard than it delivered. Our bathroom had a hydro bath that spewed out creepy crawlies when we tried the jets and was very unsatisfactory

We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. The location is very good: many attractions, good restaurants in walking distance. Just in the middle of the pulsating Old Quarter. We booked some trips even before arriving. Sophie was very helpful. We could speak via Whatsapp, so we could

The room was small but adequate for our needs. The staff were very helpful and friendly. There was a roof top area to sit outside, it advertised a bar, but we never saw it open. The breakfast was ok, cooked as you asked for it.

Stayed our first night in Vietnam at Lucky 3. Room was clean and comfortable, food at the restaurant was delicious. Staff were amazing - couldn't do enough to make sure we were happy with our stay; 11 out of 10!

how far is it from the airport? what is the best wat to get there?
Anywhere in the Old Quarter takes about 40 minutes to travel from the airport. You can take a taxi from the airport...the price is regulated so they should tell you what the cost will be before you travel. My favourite way, and one which gives me peace of mind, is to contact the hotel prior to arriving and arrange for them to get a driver to pick you up. That way, they will let you know beforehand what the cost will be and someone will be at the airport with your name on a sign. It's an easy way to travel when you first arrive. Also, I found the prices for a driver quoted by the Lucky 3 property to be better than most. Have a lovely time!
