Anatole Hotel – blending stylish modern conveniences and classic charm in Hanoi’s most captivating and atmospheric neighborhood. At its heart, Anatole Hotel is a family business. As long-term Hanoi residents, we’ve seen the city change over the years and know that tight spaces characterize the capital, but also understand the need for peace, quiet, and comfort. That’s why we’ve crafted our hotel to blend the charm of our storied capital with the practical needs of today’s modern traveler. We opened in November 2019 to provide a fresh accommodation option to visitors of Hanoi. We’ve crafted the hotel with each guest in mind, whether you’re traveling alone for business or with a group for pleasure. Choosing not to perpetuate Hanoi’s colonial history but instead to look forward to the city’s bright future, you’ll note that each room is carefully thought out with space-saving amenities and relaxing tones. As a family-owned hotel, we always have families in mind. Anatole hotel Hanoi has total 70 Rooms & Suite with special 10 connecting rooms give your kids their own space while still keeping them close. Even better, our customer care team is trained in looking after younger travelers and are available throughout the day to offer tips and advice. Meanwhile, sophisticated soundproofing ensures that our solo and adult travelers will remain undisturbed during their trip.

The photos here on Tripadvisor do not at all reflect the room we stayed in. To start with, the reception area is lovely and bright and fresh and the staff were very welcoming. However, our room was to the rear — a perfectly nice room itself, but the window looked directly onto a blank wall less than one metre from the window and no view whatsoever. The dining room/ breakfast room is in the basement with no windows and is quite depressing. Dinner was really quite bland. Breakfast offering was ok but nothing special.

Stayed here for 5 nights...very clean, modern & seemed reasonably new. Great welcoming foyer, breakfast plentiful and varied. Rooms although modern and functional were a bit small, room for 1 large suitcase but not 2. Some of the staff had a reasonably good knowledge of the English language but there was 1 or 2 young men on the front desk that just didn't understand the simplest request which proved very frustrating. A big shout out to Amy at the front desk...English excellent and most helpful of where to go for necessary items etc. Overall a good experience .

What a gem of a hotel! Located very centrally in the old quarter, walking distance from a plethora of rustic cafes, shops, massage parlors, nail salons etc and sights. The rooms are modern, clean and well designed - however very compact given its a small hotel. The service is impeccable with the staff being super friendly and attentive. Breakfast as well was very good and well organized. Overall, a great option to stay in the heart of the old quarter hanoi.

Gorgeous lobby with pleasant, attentive, English-speaking staff and airy, bright, well-proportioned, rooms with tasteful, logically designed features. It was the perfect place to finish our 3-week tour of Vietnam. The breakfast was particularly good with a good choice of bread and French breakfast pastries in addition to the usual Asian breakfast options.

The hotel is in a good location being only a few minutes walk to the nearby Hoàn Kiếm Lake with it’s Turtle Tower and an easy walk to temple on Jade Island at the northern end of the lake. There are many restaurants near by, particularly around cathedral. The roof top bar on the 10th floor is recommended, with good views over city. The price of drinks in the bar seemed lower than at restaurants in area making sitting on the roof even more pleasant. The road outside the hotel was very busy and sometimes difficult to walk down with pavements blocked by parked scooters but we soon got used to that. Also we found it rather noisy because of nearby school and the bells of the cathedral

Location was perfect very central. Roof top cocktails were delicious! Steam room sauna and pool were a treat. The bath in our room 308 was leaking a small bit but this was only a minor fault. Beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. Staff were able to assist us with our heavy luggage to the room which was much appreciated! They never hesitated in providing us with recommendations and advice when needed. Would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting hanoi :)

One of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed in, from the reception staff to the cleaners, everyone was so nice and nothing was a problem. Our room was cleaned daily and fresh towels provided. The staff were quick to offer advice when asked and gave good recommendations for our time in Hanoi. The location is very central, just a two minute walk from the old quarter area and the pool and steam room and sauna were very enjoyable (the only small issue we had was that we wished the jacuzzi could be heated). Would definitely recommend!

A great stay, we were only there one night, but it was a great experience. We got room service and the food was delicious. A great location, right in Old Quarter Hanoi so tons of things to see and do within walking distance. The staff were very attentive and helpful. They reached out to me prior to our stay and helped with arranging a shuttle to pick us up from the airport to the hotel. Room was comfortable and we actually got a free upgrade which was so nice, so we got a great little balcony window to look out on the street. Only downside since it is in a popular area, it was a little noisy since we were facing the street, but manageable. Still a great stay, would highly recommend.
