De l’opera is a good and reasonably priced place to stay while in Hanoi. The location is just perfect - close to the lake and a little walk away from the old quarter. The hotel ambience too is quite welcoming. And so is the service; very cheerful and efficient. The room was clean and compact with all basic necessities in...

this hotel had colonial charm, in a great location. The room was sizeable and quiet and the breakfast were wonderful. We are glad we chose this location and hotel. From here it is about a 15 minute walk to the old town Hanoi which is the center of the excitement of this town for tourists.

Just loved the plush bed and fuchsia velvet decor and the tiled bathroom, so stylish. The staff are all very nice and helpful. Impressed the breakfast offers nice gluten free bread.. Overall I am really enjoying my stay here.. My 1 wish would be a pool outside and more loungers, plus small terrace doesn't get much actual sun..

A beautiful collection hotel under Accor group, I must say much better than most novotel and Pullman hotels. Only Sofitel rates a bit better but much pricier. This hotel has a charm of its own, and is only minutes away from opera and Hoan kem lake. I walked 15 mins to the old quarters and it's perfect for you to...

A grand 5 star French colonial hotel centrally located. Stayed here on two different occasions. Large rooms with weird decor. The panels behind and above bed are just depressing, gaudy chairs, "tiger carpet" tasteless and good for tripping. Fantastic, fiddly lights. You cannot regulate air con. On one occasion bathroom did not have a towel rack. Bed enormous and very...

Stayed here on two separate occasions before and after Halong Bay Cruise. Had connecting rooms so that our children could be in one and my husband and I in the other. Have to say that this is probably the best hotel we have ever stayed in. Luxurious, huge rooms, great 'happy' service, good location. Highly recommend.

The staff are what makes this Hotel so good. The room itself was...
