This is a quaint boutique hotel. Its decor is contemporary with some velvet finishes. Rooms are a good size and the king size bed is heavenly to sleep on. Comfortable beddings and pillows. Toilets are clean and spacious but no tubs for the basic room. While the hotel is old, I think the management has upkeep the place relatively well....

I stayed one night at this hotel on my way to Halong Bay. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and the facilities are beautifully decorated. The hotel is centrally located near Hoan Kiem Lake. We were able to easily walk to the lake and enjoy the stores, restaurants and cafes that surround the lake, as well as, the night...

This was our second visit to this hotel. It is located in the popular old quarter of Hanoi, close to the opera house, and other attractions, restaurants, and shops. The rooms are, clean spacious, and comfortable with very modern decor. The staff at this hotel are a great asset. They were friendly, professional and very courteous. We were extremely well...

We visited stone restaurant on a Saturday evening. It was not very busy but they were waiting for a big tour group. We were seated right away and the staff member was friendly. The dining area is decorated really well and was light and airy. We ordered the duck, fish and chips and a fat mans burger. The burger was...

It's got great character, the people are amazingly helpful, the breakfast is absolutely incredible. I've been back multiple times despite the cost, and it's absolutely worth it in my opinion. Rooms are big and beds are massive.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for two nights whilst on a tour of Cambodia and Vietnam. The hotel is in a great location, close to the old city and the central lake. The streets around this area are closed to traffic on weekend evenings, which makes it a great place to wander around. The hotel rooms are...

Nice location, terrible room, staff friendly, uncomfortable bed and room furniture, check before booking, not worth staying except for location, better to stay in other hotels nearby, though the staff is friendly but don't understand English well!

Location: Located within the trendier part of Hanoi in the Opera area with many art galleries, cafes etc. Old Quarter is within a 10-15 minute walk away. Hotel/Facilities: This hotel is housed in a colonial-style building with modern and French-influenced interiors. There is a small gym and a smallish indoor pool - it didn’t look exactly too inviting. Breakfast served...

A friend and I began our two week trip of Vietnam in Hanoi. We arrived in the evening and check in was easy. The hotel has all the modern amenities one would want. The bar has live music on certain nights and a wide cocktail menu. Breakfast was good. There are various buffet choices but one can also order from...

Operatic Glamour in the Heart of Hanoi: Hotel de l'Opera offers travellers a sophisticated break near the iconic Hanoi Opera House. As soon as you arrive you can't fail to be won over by the magic of the setting and the theatrical interior, filled with rich shades, silk drapes and flamboyantly coloured furniture. The same decadence runs through the 107 rooms and suites that combine 21st Century comfort with French sophistication and grand decor.
