They offered us this hotel when we arrived in the sleeping bus from Hue. At the beginning it was OK with a reasonable price. To make it short: we didn't book a tour to Halong bay with them so they became rude. When we came back, they kicked us up at evening, arguing that they had a group coming. Before...

Sly...will try to get any money out of u that they can!!!! Don't stay here!! They are scammers! They do it with a smile....sometimes! Had the nerve to charge me $15 and the next person that walked in less. Then I heard another price! Whatever they can get!! This kind of stuff can ruin your holiday if u let it....

The pictures they use for this hotel are fake. That being said, the rooms are fairly decent-nothing too terrible aside from the deception. The staff, however, are clearly just after money. Very pushy with their tours. The guy who seems to be in charge was yelling and screaming at some guests in front of us. I wouldn't reccomend!

Honestly don't bother... We've been dragged here by another hotel that apparently "booked us in a great hotel"... What a surprise! The room is filthy and we were overcharged for it. The manager wasn't really nice and even less when we told him that we didn't need a tour to Halong bay since we had our own transport. They try...

Similar story... on the sleeper bus from Hue. Arrive 8am into Hanoi and approached by hotel offering twin room for $12 inc breakfast & free transport. Arriving at hotel shown the budget room and was better than most we've stayed at for that price. Best things is the amazingly hot shower (the hottest so far in 11 weeks of travelling....

Very friendly owner of the hotel approached us on the bus from Hoi An, proposed a free taxi to a hotel which looked nice from the brochure, and at 7am after a sleeper bus I wasn't in any mood to turn it down being only $12 for a double room where everywhere else seemed to be $20 and up. Whilst...

I would strongly advise avoiding this hotel and travel agent. We were pressured into staying here while exhausted from the long night bus from Hue. The appeal of the free car into town won us over. We soon regretted this decision. We booked a tour to Halong Bay through the aggressive and pushy manager. If we had not been in...

Well I wish I had read the reviews before coming here. Staff are friendly as pie as long as you are overpaying and buying their trips - as soon as you start to question the prices or book things else where then look out! They love to overcharge and mess you around, false promises about the rooms they will place...

- better places to stay - THE MOST uncomfortable beds - builders drilling at 6AM - HIDDEN 10% TAX COSTS - frequently heard the staff loudly arguing with other guests - unhelpful staff - location was okay - DO NOT pay more than $12 a night

Well, I guess the title says it all. We didn't read any reviews before going so were completely unaware of other people's experiences with this place... but it is ALL true. The place itself is OK, cheap, and does everything you expect. But there is an agenda, and that's where the problems start. In a nutshell, don't bother. They will...
