Stayed here for most of my time in Hanoi. Great location, very friendly and helpful staff, decent sized rooms for anywhere in old quarter. Breakfast is included with the price. Definitely would recommend to a friend.

Room was nice and comfortable. Breakfast simple but very good. The staff was friendly and helpful. Especially Ms Ann. She answer for us a lots questions we had about Hanoi. Recommend the guest book tour in here. They had a good price and saver than agency office. Thank you so much team. We will comeback again.

Got there via Booking.com, but booked ourself for a better rate. Stayed there 2 nights and I have the following points: - WiFi didn't work for a few hours from arrival. "Work in progress". - Old long hairs on the floor in the room and after mentioning it, receptionist just took the hairs and dropped it in the corridor. Also,... More

The hotel is a bit outdated, but they have very friendly staff. And it is a great location! We didn't like/trust the tour agent who is working in the lobby. We had a spacious room, with a with balcony with a nice view on the busy streets. But because of the old-fashioned look and the not recent upgraded furniture it... More

My Grandma(70), mum(45), and I(25) stayed here for three nights at the beginning of our tour. The company, Vietnam Unique Tours booked us in there. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Helping us with our massive suitcases, giving us a map and information on the area, and giving us a very pleasant experience. Plus, the breakfast there was... More

We've been staying for three nights at this hostel. When we arrived we were greeted very friendly. Lucy, the receptionist, helped us with the booking of our trips, which was a great way to organize our first few days in Vietnam. The room was nice and clean and we had a nice balcony with a view on the streets. When... More

I would highly recommend HANOI ASIA STAR HOTEL to budget conscious travellers because the room rate per night of Php828.08 about US$17.60 per night for the deluxe twin bedroom with free breakfast is very cheap considering the amenities that they offer. The deluxe twin bedroom is big enough & comfortable, the aircon is strong, the toilet & bath is big... More

Is awful, don't even provide us mineral water!! And the room was stinky ! But the staffs are friendly, welcome us with warmest smile ! Don't sign any tours package in this hotel, you can get it all along the roadside ,that's more cheaper and better!

We spent a great time in this beautiful place. The hotel staff is absolutely friendly and make you feel welcome and comfortable. Kevin, one of the desk manager was very kind to us and helped us about places to visit and restaurants to go for a tipical dinner. I absolutely recommend this place.
