The staff here could not be more helpful. The manager even took me on his motor cycle so I did not have to take a taxi as did his staff. The rooms are spacious, clean and modern. Room rates are reasonable and the location is great, right in the heart of the old quarter with cafes and restaurants everywhere. I thoroughly recommend this hotel for either business or pleasure.
The location just behind the cathedral in old town is perfect for exploring. You can walk anywhere and come back to a spotlessly clean room and a friendly staff. Breakfast is large, fresh and cooked to order. Very hard to beat this place in old town Hanoi.
From the moment I arrived was greeted and made most welcome. Location couldn't be better right in the heart of the old Quarter and around 8 minute walk to lake. Room was fabulous and clean with a small balcony. Located down a tree lined street so very little traffic and got a good night sleep. Shout out to Zenky the manager who was so friendly and helpful. Will return in the future
I have been to this hotel twice, once in 2016, and another in December 2019. This hotel is very reasonably priced - considering its perfect location in the heart of the Old Quarter, the clean rooms and fresh sheets, and best of all - the friendliest hotel staff I have ever met! I have traveled to key cities in Asia (and other parts of the world) for business and leisure; and, it was only here where I have made friends and continued to touch base with the hotel staff. Their hospitality - with much of a personal touch - is just superb. Their manager, Zenky, and staff, Lien are Hanoi natives who spoke English very well and are quite knowledgeable not just of the best places to visit around Hanoi, but also of the best deals you could have for any tours you would like to have. (For our trip to Halong Bay, Zenky even personally walked us up to the pick up point!) If you are the type of traveler who would like to mix in with the locals, the staff at Impressive would give you just that. They can only be too happy to randomly offer you their dinner, or talk to you about the innate charm of Hanoi, or simply make a good point for Hanoi Beer (vs. Saigon Beer)! A minute's walk to the landmark St. Joseph's Cathedral, about five minutes to the lake, a stone's throw to a row of local restaurants. Just right across is Pasteur Street Brewing Company - a modern bar that served brewed beer and featured young acoustic pop musicians. 5 stars!…
Stayed for 3 nights, clean room and bathroom, we had a room with balcony facing the street which was bonus! The staff are very helpful and go beyond to help out. Especially Nancy she was a gem!! Thank you
Our first trip to Hanoi and we chose this hotel based on other Tripadvisor reviews. I We were very very happy with it. We chose a city view balcony room which was definitely worth the extra so we could look down onto the tree lined streets and have a direct view of the cathedral. The staff are very welcoming with Nancy and James as our super attentive hosts. Nothing was too difficult for them. The rooms are a good size, for Vietnam, and the cost was very affordable. The hotel is boutique style located in a quiet street just off the main drag. It was an easy stroll to the main streets but nice to come home to at the end of the day away from the hustle and bustle. Breakfast was good with a small buffet and menu to choose from as well. When we go back, this will definitely be our choice to stay in Hanoi.…
We spent several nights in Hanoi and used the Hanoi Impressive Hotel as a base. The location is great, steps to the Cathedral and an easy walk to many great places to eat. The staff is fantastic and made sure our stay was pleasant. Breakfast was great and delivered promptly when we were getting ready to go out on a tour. Would stay here again.
Spent three nights in an upper floor room with balcony and views of the cathedral. Good, basic accommodation and a decent breakfast, at a good price in an excellent location for exploring the old quarter. A bit of street noise at night, but manageable and no more than one would expect in this busy part of town. The staff are super helpful and will go out of their way to help with info on sites and activities and travel advice. They organized a Halong Bay cruise (two-night Mon Cherie ) for us during our stay, which was excellent.
I was looking forward to my second stay at Impressive and it didn’t disappoint. The warm welcome from the friendly staff was lovely after a long journey. My room was clean and breakfast the next morning was amazing, so much choice. All the staff were helpful and Miss Lien organised an excellent trip again. She is very knowledgable on the area and picked the perfect trip. I am already looking forward to my stay at Impressive next year.
super friendly and helpful staff. Very attentive and knowledgeable Clean rooms with nice view from balcony Good breakfast with fast and excellent service Great location, best street in the Old quarters Will come back again
