We booked through booking.com and had booked the deluxe suite after inspecting the photos (turns out that was a con). On arrival we were shoved in the dodgy back rooms with no outside window! Whilst the staff were understanding and sympathetic to our situation with booking.com nothing could be done to 'fix' it. You couldn't swing a cat in the...

We booked this at the last minute and it was a reasonable price at around $50US a night. Breakfast was included and was very reasonable as far as food is concerned. The service was great especially Hien who helped sort out our transport to our next destination. The location is brilliant for seeing the thriving bustling old quarter. I think...

Well positioned hotel in the Old Quarter and for the price it's wasn't too bad at all but I question the intro on Trip Advisor as being new because it's definitely not. Our first night was spent in a junior suite with a good size balcony which we quite enjoyed. On our return trip to Hanoi we chose to stay...

Lovely small hotel in the old quarter of Hanoi. The better rooms are spacious and clean. Some rooms don't have windows but this is normal for small hotels in Hanoi. Outstanding service from all staff who assist and advise at all times. Good breakfast with fresh fruit and freshly prepared eggs of your choice.

I had a pleasant stay in Medaillon. I am not sure if it worth for 4 stars, but the quality of service was really good. the staff is really helpful. They have helped book me the bus to SAPA. What was amazing was the breakfast, with the form of a buffet.

Unfortunately, furiously writing this review based on disgusting and unacceptable customer service. The respect and attitude of the staff is horrendous especially Nga Hoang, I have never been spoken to like this, not even by my own mother. The AC in my room did not work for the duration of our stay, I called reception on many occasions and no...

I've been staying at the Medallion the last 6 nights and have really enjoyed my stay. If you want to be in the centre of bars and restaurants, the location is perfect. There are also plenty of travel agencies nearby for booking tours. I noticed some other reviewers complained about noise levels. I paid a little bit more to get...

Where do I start, possibly the worst hotel we I stayed in. Firstly the service and attitude of the staff is horrendous especially the manager (Nga Hoang). AC did not work in room 312 for the duration of our stay, they attempted to repair but failed, it left us in an uncomfortable room to sleep in overnight. No alternative was...

Booked into this hotel for three nights . The first night we had a room at the front of the hotel and because of the location of this hotel in the old quarter it was very noisy. The next morning we upgraded to a room at the rear of the hotel . Only cost 15USD per night but well worth...

The location is a great downtown location not too close to the mishmash of bars (there is one nearby that is very loud and full of drunk backpackers, but isn't as bad as most hotels). The hotel has a good set of doormen, clean in the front, and helpful staff. The restaurant isn't great, but they go to great lengths...
