Thanks to our travel agent we had a day rate room at this hotel between returning from Halong Bay and getting on a night train. I'm just a few hours I can tell you this seems well run (great reception experience) and the rooms are well furnished and comfortable. Akin to some 4star hotels in the UK of the cookie...

This is a very good option for short stays in Hanoi. This is a Hotel where you can get a good rates for Hanoi and everything seems right based on their category. Breakfast was good enough, then wifi connection also fine and service very good. Got a room in the back so no problem at all with noise and location...

The moment I arrived I was shocked because we were very tired, flying from Europe, and the incredible street noise spread all over the small and modest hotel reception. As my major concern is the noise, because I'm a very light sleeper, I have to say our room was very quiet. Facing the backside, and in the last (9th) floor,...

Booked through accor. Room was good. The only disappointment i had was the breakfast. Basically i never had a choice, the best meal i can find is bread and butter and some fruits, no variety at all. Location is ok...quite abit of walk to find nearest decent restaurant. Overall i will rate as moderate

Expected the standard comfortable mercure standard. Got exactly that. The hotel is on a road intersection hence it is easy to access the Hanoi city from all sides. The Hanoi railway station is just across the road. The lake, Old Quarters, French Quarters are all 15 20 mins on foot. We were lucky to be there on the weekend and...

Clean room and a very good breakfast. I loved the bread. I would really recommend this place, which is near the train station and easy to get a taxi to go anywhere. The only con is the heavy traffic around it and, depending on the room you get, the loud noise from the station. My coworker which got a room...

This hotel was located within 15 minutes walk to Hoan Kiem Lake/old quarter so very convenient and gives you an opportunity to see the sights and sounds along the way. Avoid taking taxis into the city heart as you will get ripped off! Hotel was very clean and staff always had a smile on their face (they spoke good english)....

The drive from the airport was long (welcome back to SE Asia) but insightful. This hotel is perfectly positioned near all the major attractions of busy Hanoi. Our room, whilst over-looking the main street, was quiet due to the double glazing, and very well appointed. The staff speak great English and are very forthcoming with their recommendations and assistance. They...

I have 4 days to stay at Mercure Hanoi. The room is not too big but clean, nice and full full equipment. The hotel staff was so friendly and good English. Location is quiet far from the old qater, maybe 1miles and 20 mins by walk.

Can't believe that instead of again choosing one of the smaller independent 'boutique' hotels in Hanoi, I got sacked into booking an international chain hotel. The difference in service is like day and night. We stayed in La Siesta Boutique Hotel and Spa a few days before where if anything, they've exaggerated with the service and their strong desire to...
