Great location and wonderful staff, they were very welcoming and friendly with the kids. We stayed on the double twin room, it was big, clean and with a great view of the surroundings, you can really grasp the Hanoi sense from your window. There is nothing more you could ask for this price.

We only stayed one night at Ruby prior to being switched to a sister property. I agree with previous reviewers that the hotel staff are wonderful. However, I would not recommend staying on the 2nd floor. Because of the layout of the hotel, the second floor landing opens above the hotel lobby and dining room. Our door faced the landing,...

We stayed at this hotel for two nights in November and cannot say enough about the excellent service provided by the staff. Mr. Do Duc Giang was extremely helpful even before we arrived by answering emails promptly and helped organize a Halong Bag cruise which in the end had to be cancelled due to the typhoon. The location is perfect...

I had heard from friends how great this place was but you really need to experience it to understand it! The hotel itself is really lovely and as other travellers have said a total oasis! I am travelling with my partner and our two children aged 12 & 3. From the moment we arrived the staff were exceptional and made...

This little hotel rivals 5 star hotels any place in the world for it's service. The regular rooms are small but efficiently laid out so the size is not a problem. The suite is huge and more space than 2 people need. But it's the service that is beyond belief. For example, the staff walked us down the street to...

Wonderful hotel. Staff was very warm and the rooms (at least our room) was great. We split our time between this hotel and the Diamond. We liked both. The Diamond was a little "nicer" but it was smaller for our family of 5 and we liked the area of the Ruby better.

Our family recently stayed here for 6 nights 9-15 Nov.The hotel is small but everything one could want from a boutique hotel, beautiful room(we stayed in 2 suites), a quiet location so the honking horns couldn't be heard yet right in the heart of the Old Quarter. Such a fantastic location. The hotel is so well managed and the staff...

Thank you to the wonderful staff at the Ruby for making our stay so comfortable. They organised our tours to Sapa and Halong Bay, gave us tips on places to eat and were friendly always. The room was very clean and comfortable with free Wifi and the omelet and selection of juices each morning was delicious. The location was very...

This was our first Hotel in Vietnam and what a great place this was. As per other reviewers you could not fault the staff, the rooms, the breakfast, the location, the rooms and again the staff. I can't believe how good they were. If some of the top English hotels swept these guys up and brought them over the UK's tourism...

This was our first trip to Vietnam and as our first Hotel stop we couldn't have wanted for a better introduction to its kind people. The staff are the best part of this hotel and that's not to say it lacks elsewhere! They were waiting with a refreshing welcome drink and face towel, they showed us the best spots for...
