We didn't stay at the hotel, but did eat at the restaurant that is on the ground floor. It was marvelous. Good, honest, fresh food. Vietnamese specialties that were cooked really well. Best advise: try the local special dish Bun Cha. Terriffic! Staff is nice and helpful.

This lovely hotel is situated in the heart of Hanoi's old quarter. Close to shops, sites of interest and street food and extremely reasonably priced. The beds are comfortable and rooms are clean. The best part of my several stays there is the professional, courteous and friendly staff. They are very helpful, speak good English and know the area very...

Whoever wants to experience the crazyness of Hanoi, is recommended to stay in this area of the city. As soon as you're out of the guesthouse you're surrounded by cars, mopeds, people, shops, restaurant, coffee and tea houses, bars, streetfood places, etc etc. We stayed in spacious room with comfortable beds. The bathroom is not very nice though. Obviously this...

Popped in here for beer as the Mrs wanted a cup of tea. Great service and cheap! 25000 for a bottle of beer so you can't go wrong. Opposite a pub so you can carry in there if you wish. Good location to watch Hanoi go by.

The Bamboo hotel is a budget hotel, that is really quite basic. Breakfast will come at an extra cost, and you are not guaranteed a secure room, nor one where the air conditioning works properly. That being said the hotel is in the old quarter and in the bustling heart of the old Hanoi where you can sample every type...

I recently stayed here at Bamboo hotel for a few nights. Clean, comfortable, fantastic location. I ate there a few times as well and food was very tasty and not expensive. I would definitely come back and stay here again.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating until i actually stayed in the room and found problems with the room. Air Con didn't work, there were cockroaches in the bathroom. I asked for a room change, The next room had no air con, just a fan. Bare in mind it's 40 degrees on Hanoi. When I asked for a refund...

The staff was very friendly and very efficient. The location is perfect and you can easy walk to the market and others sites. The room was very clean but just a little bit noisy. The wifi connection was excellent at the reception and poor inside the room. Is a basic accomodation but it worth.
