The hotel itself is very well kept. All the staff are amazingly pleasant, young and friendly. Even giving us a quick lesson in Vietnamese after our 17 hour trip from London. Rooms are very clean and the breakfasts sufficient. However, for what you get, £40 per night is a bit much and to suffer the huge bells from the church...

Sometimes, when backpacking, you need a bit of luxury. We stayed at Cinnamon a few times, coming and going between Hanoi and the surrounding area. Cinnamon's excellent staff were always friendly and helpful, especially Miss Giang who really looked after us in every way we asked. We loved the breakfasts and our stylish room on the top floor. Highly recommended!

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay- helpful staff, unbeatable location and comfortable ambience. Great price to match as well. No real down side but lighting on my room was bit dark and bathroom could use shower curtains. For the value-for-money, overall highly recommended.
