I booked there because a friend of mine recommended it to me. She went there in August, so it was probably pretty busy. But when I arrived on this April, it was completely empty, there was just me. I was kind of jet lagged so I fell asleep in my empty dorm room right away. I woke up around 5.30...

The hotel is located in the Hanoi Old Quarter which is very convenient for shopping and eating. The Front Office Staff speaks English and can arrange tours, trips to the airport, and are always very courteous and helpful. They have a massage area by the Front Office and the rates are very reasonable. Room prices are reasonable and the size...

We rocked up at 10pm and booked a dorm room between the six of us. Cheap and the dorm room was well set up, with high bunks with individual curtains, lights, charging stations and shelves. Bathroom was sectioned so that you could close off the shower or toilet. Good location - bars, restaurants and general old quarter madness around. Only...

Reception is at the back of a nail bar. There was a rat climbing up an electricity cord when we arrived. Staff reception average. Don't show you to your room or turn on the lights in the stairs so stumbling along in the dark to find our room. Room was basic and relatively clean. The bathroom had handheld shower over...

Stayed here for a few night after a mixup and a stomach sick girlfriend. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great location in the old quarter. Got a doubleroom on the upper floors and no elevator which wasn't great. The bed was rock hard so not too comfortable. Clean room and towels. The bathroom was fine and we had a bathtub...

I stayed my first and last night here during my trip to the North of Vietnam. This hotel is in very central of Oldquater, very easy to access to good food and drink. 10mins walk to the lake. The room was clean and comfortable, staff is friendly. I would recommend this place to those who wanna get a budget and...

Room was ok but not really good value compared to other hotels but we were only staying the one night anyway. Quite a few mosquitoes around the fridge and bathroom. Staff were very helpful and location was good for the old quarter bars.

We got a large and clean room here with a little balcony on the first floor for very cheap relative to the old-quarter. Definitely value for money especially if you are travelling with friends and can split it 3 ways. The reception staff were pleasant. The manager woman was nice but referred us to a hotel in Ninh Binh called...

I feel like the pictures of this hotel are quite misleading just because it looks a little bit run down now. We stayed in a family room because they didn't have a double and it was clean, and spacious. The bathroom was clean and the shower gave out hot water, although it looked like the bathroom was formerly a wet...

The attraction of Phoco (oldtown) was hard to resit and it didnt let me down. The hotel did. Though the staffs were friendly and helpfull, there alot of room for improvement. The poor condition of the bathroom, old and dirty looking towels, broken phone and bedside lamp, the lack of seatings in the lobby... just to name a few. It...
