There are two Dreams Hotels, within about 100 m of each other and with the same owner, I believe. Some of the photos appear to show the 'old' narrow one. I'm not sure if it's actually open, but we stayed at the 'double fronted' one. Its clean, comfortable and Mrs Dung could not be more helpful with information and recommendations. It is basic, with average size rooms, some of which only have a window to a light well. The breakfast is just as shown - plenty of fruit, and some bacon and eggs with rolls. It's all pretty simple but its everything you need for a base in Da Lat, with a great location for lots of interesting restaurants, and within walking distance of the night market - a must-do!

Dreams Hotel was just great, we were greeted by the owner Mrs Dung, she had a great sense of humour and a deep knowledge of the area and options. The hotel had been refurbished and was very comfortable and casual. There was an elevator which we gave little use to the first floor. I expected some road noise but this did not eventuate with double glazing evident. The shower was over the bath however. I guess for some the bath is a luxury and nice way to relax. Breakfast was as depicted on one of the reviews and excellent with a lot of local fruit. Eggs as you like them and bacon and ham. Good way to start the day. We walked most places from this hotel including the Crazy House, it is very central. When Mrs Dung had to go away briefly and her nephew Giang took over the breakfast cooking. Both were great. We went on two tours that this hotel organised. Both were excellent! We booked for 2 nights and stayed 4 so that is an endorsement in itself. There is a cafe opposite which was excellent and specialised in western fare but Mrs Dung gave us good directions to more local eateries. A very friendly, homely place to say!

Lovely, clean spot. We stayed two nights and enjoyed it immensely. In a hectic section of town the owner, Ms Dung recommended a great local spot for dinner before head into the night market. The rooms and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and exactly as pictured. Would stay again for sure!

We've just stayed at this hotel.. ( two hotels of same name..owned by same owners..) This is the newer version with a lift to all floors.. From the moment you arrive and are greeted by the owner and family member, you just know you're going to relax during your stay here.. Rooms do vary in size and priced accordingly.. We paid for a larger room and we paid £26p/ night.. Rooms are basic in terms of wardrobes and furniture, but the room was very clean.. Onsuite shower room was a good size.. ( we had a shower over the bath ) There was a safe that uses bio metric recognition to close and open.. Brilliant idea.. Bed was very large and comfortable.. Some rooms do have twin beds in them.. On the 4th floor is a large jacuzzi.. Easily sit 6 adults comfortably.. Just ask the owner in the morning that you would like to use it later that day, and she'll prepare it ready for you.. Breakfast is a mix of plentiful amount of very fresh fruit.. Small baguettes.. Usual salad, and you can also enjoy bacon & eggs.. Just ask, and you will receive.. Tea/ coffee/ water is also available.. The table is laid out, and you take what you want.. Seriously, I can't fault Breakfast at all.. The hotel is less than a 10mins stroll from the centre of Dalat.. Slight incline to get there, but it's not that steep, in my opinion.. If you have difficulty walking or your mobility is hampered in any way, please consider that there are around a dozen wide steps to get up to the reception area.. If a wheelchair user then, this may not be suitable for your requirements in terms of getting in the bathroom area.. There are toilets by reception that have more favourable access, but just enquire more about it before making your mind up about staying here.. And one other thing.. The owner can organise a local man with a nice large vehicle to take you around the Dalat area.. We gave him a list of things we wanted to see during this particular trip to Dalat.. He charges 50 USD per day.. That's for him & car.. So if you have a few friends doing a trip together, that's not much per person.. And he picks you up at 9am and returns around 4.30pm.. Although we did finish one day at 6pm.. No extra charge.. And the hotel owner recieves nothing for asking him... He was absolutely great at his job.. ( please note..any attraction or business you decide to go too or see, that charges entrance fee, you must pay that cost..) He just sits and waits for you to take your time at any location and says, "The next one is...." So you research where you wish to visit during your stay , write it down, and he works out the most effective way to see things to maximise your time.. Absolutely recommend his services if you need a driver/ car.. It was an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel for sure.. And we will definitely stay here again if we return to Dalat..

Staying at Dreams Hotel was such a treat! We have been traveling internationally for 7 months and know what to expect at most reasonably priced hotels, but we were blown away by the comfort and service we received at Dreams hotel. Mrs. Jung, the owner, was such a wonderful host and always made sure we had everything we needed and gave us advice on what to see in town. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious. The breakfast spread is unbelievable and would be worth the price of a night’s stay by itself; bacon, eggs, bread, and ham with fresh mango, pineapple, banana, watermelon, and even more that I can’t remember. The location is also a very easy 10 min walk to the center of Da Lat. There are plenty of great restaurants and cafes just down the street from Dreams Hotel.

Have stayed at this hotel for the last 20 years each trip to VN. Chị Dung the owner is now a dear friend. Bed is huge and hard, extra pillows are always available, hot water always plentiful. Can’t think of anything I have asked and not get. When I mentioned 3 fruits I love to eat in VN, the next day she would get them for me (free!). Always allow me early checkin and late check out. Like I said, my home away from home!

Dreams hotel was our home base in Da Lat and Ms Yuan was our trip advisor / “den mother” Lovely, lovely authentic person with good humour. She arranged a countryside tour with Mr Joseph our guide, which was very reasonable, and offered other helpful suggestions. Also arranged a private transfer to DLU airport for morning flight. We liked Da Lat and recommend a visit, although the kindness of Ms Yuan & Joseph will be what we remember.

"Mama knows best" From the moment we arrived at the Dreams Hotel, Da Lat, we were greeted with warmth, friendliness and respect from Mrs Jung. Her english is excellent and her expert knowledge of the city, the restaurants, tourist destinations and advice on what prices to pay was invaluable. Ask about the rooftop patio and spa, which we were priviledged to access. We got some great sunset photos from this viewpoint. We were given the last room available, which was excellent and very reasonable, with all the amenities you would expect. Good breakfast (even Vegemite and peanut for the Aussies). The dining room was a great place to to meet and greet other travellers, which we enjoyed immensely. Favourite tourist destinations - Datanla Waterfall - Immerse yourself in the beauty of the lush rainforests at Datanla. The ride there has a 2,400-meter track, the longest roller coaster in Asia. Crazy House - Just go. It's absolutely amazing - for everyone. Walk around lake - halfway, up on the hill is a rainforest cafe with a great view of the lakel. At the end of the lake is a botanic garden with the best bonsai display, some so old.
