Stayed at this hotel in late April, 2017. This hotel is worth seeing if for no other reason than the heritage. It was built in 1922 at the height of the French occupation of Indochina and it must've been quite opulent at the time. Most of the fixtures and much of the period furnishings seem to still populate this hotel....

What a remarkable building. I didn't stay here but had a sticky beak. The history was amazing. Massive grounds. Great architecture. Filled with amazing antiques. If the price was more inline with the rest of the area I would've stayed plus the negative review I read put me off which looking back on it was probably untrue.

Dalat Palace Hotel is a well maintained French heritage building converted to an elegant hotel. It was formerly the Governor General's residence for Indochina during the colonial occupation. Fine French dining and pristine old world ambience is what you will experience here. There are interesting temples and a unique amusement park; flowering Gardens, 2 golf courses and trekking to keep...

Beautifully positioned overlooking the lake in central Dalat, this hotel is an easy walk from the centre of town and ideally placed for a walk round the lake. The rooms are large, as you would expect in an old colonial building, with high ceilings. The staff are friendly and helpful although the service at breakfast was much slower than it...

Our stay at the Dalat Palace Hotel was memorable. The staff was attentive and the location ideal. The price we paid was on the high side but I guess since it was during the new year it was expected. One can tell that the hotel had once been very chic. It's still now a wonderful hotel. The rooms were spacious...

This hotel is lovely, aged but still charming. Large rooms with views over the lake or the Cathedral. Very comfortable beds. Good tubs for soaking. It is set in extensive gardens which provide a respite from the traffic and crowds. The hot water system needs fixing, it cycles from take-your-breath-away cold to scalding, no exaggeration there, be very careful. Makes...
