this is located at soi 1 that is other end of beach road and almost 3 km or 40 min walk from walking street. its a condo hotel and only few floors are available for hotel guest. there is no restaurant and no breakfast served. i had bood high category room with king bed but the allotted me old twin bed room. only on last day of my stay i could get room that i had actually booked . old rooms are pathetic dirty and very cheap style. they are big with balcony and sea view. however new room are nicely furnished with good amenities. book this hotel for good price and new room only. if you looking for sea view room at good price at peaceful location.

I chose this hotel as it is the closest to Pattaya Beach and most reasonable. I booked three rooms as was travelling with Family and it cost me 2300 Baht approx for all three rooms that includes free WiFi, Water Bottle and Coffee. Also they have parking available if you are driving your self. Rooms are tidy and clean. Balcony has beach view. Also rooms have all basic amenities like dryer, bath tube , TV, Fridge , AC etc., The most important thing is that it is very close to beach, you can go for beach walk or bath any time. Hotel Staff is helping and prompt. Overall hotel is value for money.

If you've decided to stay in this more peaceful and quiet location in Pattaya then you are spoilt for choice in the same building as this hotel and they all have the name Markland in them. This one is the most down market... With huge sparsely furnished rooms, old bathrooms, polished stone floors, flat screen TV and uncomfortable springy beds!, noisy old aircon BUT and a big BUT an extraordinary sea view balcony with very comfortable chairs. Very nice people at the desk, easy parking, and clean rooms are a plus and so are the lowish prices always negotiable. But I was shocked to find out that the prices for the other Marklands (both 4 star on different floors of this huge condo) are more or less the same and can be negotiated.... It's a no brainer for next time as the rooms are far superior and the balcony views isre exactly the same! Chose carefully!

It's an old building that needs to be fixed. The breakfast isn't very good but it's ok. The taste of breakfast isn't very good. The room is big and you have sea view from your balcony. Staff are nice and they can speak English but not very good. The room doesn't have LCD TV. The room TV is the old one. They get 100 boxes for deposit. There's a kettle in the room. Location is far farom crowded places and near the Beach. It should be renewed.

This hotel located at Soi 1, Pattaya Beach Road. I just stayed here for 2 days 1 night only. Booked thru Agoda.com, price about RM140.00 per night. My room located at 9th floor and quite spacious..but it looks like an old hotel. Very near to the beach and just next to Teddy Bear Museum.

I booked two rooms in this hotel because of very nice pictures in the internet BUT it was really different when we went there. The rooms are dirty, old and smells really bad even just from the entrance. As soon as we go inside the hotel, it looks like you're in a horror film. It was scary, dark, and things are broken. We got more disappointed as soon as we go inside our unit. The toilet is broken and looks very dusgusting! The aircon was also broken and the water was leaking. It was so annoying that woke up in wee hours because of the water leaking from the aircon. Was really not comfortable to stay in that place so save yourself and do not book there! We booked another hotel just after a night staying there. It was also so bad here in Markland that they will asked you to pay for the electric bills, and will even demand downpayment for that. No toiletries replacement. Curtains are also broken. Another bad experience we got is that were stuck in the elevator as it was old, and we can't even pressed any buttons even the emergency and alarm. It was scary and stressful. I told the people from the reception about what happened and they just said.. "Ah yeah, yeah broken.." in the most unfriendliest way like they dont even care and they don't even apologize for that! They cant even give a notice when the elevator was broken or what. They know that we are three people staying, but they just provide 1 blanket. Bed was uncomfortable and also old that you'll have backpain when you wake up. There was even a bug in the room! It made our vacation really stressful! I can't believe how annoying and bad this hotel is. The only place good in this hotel is the location which is close to the beach, but there are so many hotels around which are much much better, and will be worth the money you pay. WORST HOTEL I EVER BOOKED!!!

We've been to Markland hotel with my friends and we stayed for 10 night in this hotel. In my opinion : 1- you can have the best view to the sea. 2- their room is big and room service is good but you don't have safe box in your room and you must to use safe box in reservation desk. 3- you don't have bath tube. 4- breakfast isn't perfect and there is not much diversity of food. 5- swimming pool is good and you can enjoy with the best view to the sea. 4- you have the best access to the beach road and 2nd road. In summary I think you can have a great exprience in this hotel if breakfast and safe box doesn't matter much for you.
