A nice clean, newer property in a good location. Rooms are good, save for the curious window from the living area into the shower and including a view of the toilet. Foolish design, obviously, but at least they included a shade. Our room didn't have. the advertised "extras" in toiletry drawer, but this is a minor flaw. Coffee in room is the. freeze-dried variety with a hot pot. We appreciated the free bottled water which was replenished daily. Our room was near the elevators, but it was still quiet. The staff is friendly and helpful. Nice pool on the rooftop with beautiful views, and a bar. The problem here is the restaurant which puts out a visibly pleasing spread for breakfast, (which they charge their loyalty. club members for even when paying with points), but the restaurant fails to master the basics with inconsistent and confusing coffee service (are you. supposed to serve yourself or do they do it for you?), and many of the dishes were not kept at ideal temperatures, and blandly seasoned.Room service food is a disaster. Avoid it. High prices and mediocre product. We ordered calamari which looked and tasted like the frozen grocery. store variety. Heavily breaded and plain. No sauce. Fish. and chips were school lunch worthy boring, and the Tom Yum soup was a strange tasting, overly sour, not very spicy version. The Tom Yom papaya salad was decent and acceptable. Thankfully there are good breakfast, coffee, and other eating establishments within walking distance....and worth the effort, considering the low-level options on-site. We used Bonvoy points for our stay, but we won't be back. This hotel does not understand or reward the value of loyalty from customers yet. One hopes that will change in the future, because the place has potential. For now, the learning curve remains steep.…
Planned to check in tomorrow and had to cancel. I cancelled my booking online after booking directly with the hotel. Then later found out staff messed up my booking. Room originally booked was not reserved for and staff took no responsibility and argued back as if guest’s fault. Never had experienced something like this. Maybe because we were using the 20% discount club Marriott.
This is a pretty new property in North Pattaya that is a couple of blocks from the beach (not the good, swimmable part of Pattaya). The rooms are nice enough with modern flat screen televisions, modern bathrooms (no bathtubs on most floors), and built-in sofa along the window wall. Shower pressure was decent (not extra strong though) and the water temperature was consistent (hot water was reliable). Four bottles of water in the room. Internet has been reliable, easy to connect and available throughout the property. The rooftop pool is nice with some comfortable seating areas. The view of the ocean is blocked by other hotels (mostly). The breakfast buffet was very good and I found the service at breakfast to be excellent. The food and beverage manager was incredibly nice, helpful and responsive. Very impressed when I asked for a special disk and was immediately told yes (without hesitation). Excellent selection at breakfast for a Courtyard by Marriott. Check-in was a bit slow and the front desk staff seem to still be learning systems and service standards. There were no major problems and were nice enough. There are three elevators in building A. They are not all on the same relay system so people end up calling both sets of elevators to try and get the elevator to come quickly, but instead guests end up stopping on many different floors when going down. Overall please with my stay.…
I love that this Marriott comes with a kids’ club for kids to play, read books in a safe environment. Comes with an outdoor mini sand pit as well. But do note that the kids’ club is at the roof top, next to the pool. So it’s better to have caregivers nearby and not wholly leave kids there for the day. When we went, there are no other program activities like other Marriott kids’ club. Maybe will have in time to come. Everything is awesome here from food to location to service standards. The only downside is… the doors/walls are on the thinner side so can hear conversations happening inside rooms while walking down the corridor.
Nice new Hotel conveniently located in the quiet north of Pattaya. It's close to Terminal 21 , just a 6 minutes walk, if you want to do shopping or eating. However, the food at the courtyard is excellent. I had my lunch and dinner always by the pool. Special thanks to Khun Apirak who took good care of me. The rooms are great, Aircon is working perfectly. The breakfast is also great, nothing missing. Please try the Thai Omelette, it's perfect.
New Courtyard by Marriott North Pattaya. Hotel is very nice and not far from the beach. Service is also good. Promotion is very attractive to stay. Food is very delicious and high quality. Kids club is also good
I have heard that new Marriott Hotel has opened, I look into the website and found that Courtyard by Marriott just launched. I booked this trip for my family right away to have new experience with new hotel opening. When I arrived at the hotel, I felt very warm welcome from all staffs (from security till front desk manager). The lobby very glamorous and relax to sit for whole day. I really love the room, room was nice, comfortable and very cleaned. Also all amenities were functional. Breakfast was amazing, tasted and varieties. Thank you all staffs to deliver great service all the time and provide the best options to all guests. I very confident that this hotel will be one the best hotel in Pattaya. See you again!
