This was my second stay in this outstanding hotel. After i had celebrated my birthday there one year ago i decided to repeat this great experience..and was not disappointed again. Location of the hotel is excellent: right on the beach, connected to a chic shopping mall with an excellent food court..everything you need is in walking distance. Rooms are very tastefully designed, i loved my full ocean view room and the sensational sunsets over Pattaya. And i love the Exec Lounge with excellent food and drinks overlooking the Pattaya Bay. And i loved breakfast again on the terrace, watching Pattaya coming to life. Big big thank you to the teams of Edge and the Exec Lounge. Special thank you in Edge to Ms Jackie and Mr Mhoo - it was such a pleasure to meet them again. Wonderful service also from Tukta, Pono,Bean, Nakha and Tammy. And it was equally a great pleasure to meet in the lounge Ms Jessica again, who was so helpful again, just as Pooky, Yu, Becca, Leo and Ploy. And a special reckognition to the amazing young trainees Meena, Aemmi and Benz. Finally this review would not be complete without a big thank you to Ms Petcha, the Exec Floor Manager as well as Mr Zhang, the Front Office Manager, for both their advice and support. I very much look forward to be back in November :)

Hotel's Favourite
This was my first stay at Hilton Pattaya, but will definitely not be my last. For context, I am a Diamond member and this was a paid stay, not points. I received an informative email ahead of my stay that included instructions to ask at reception to be escorted to the Club Lounge for check in, which I did and it was a very pleasant check in experience. We had booked the basic room, but we received an upgrade to an ocean facing executive room that was HUGE with a very large bathtub build into the very large balcony. The room was so large that it could have easily been divided into a suite in most hotels, but I liked the one large open room. With Diamond status, we opted for the breakfast buffet and were not disappointed. The weather was perfect and we chose outdoor seating. The buffet had every kind of breakfast food imaginable and I would return here just for the breakfast. Evenings in the Club Lounge had a nice selection of canapés and drinks and such a wonderful staff. We did eat one night at the outdoor restaurant on top a bit late after a show. It does go for the "nightclub" vibe but it was not too loud and the food was spectacular. Being Diamond also gets you 20% off of all food in the restaurants (but not room service). The hotel gave us a 1pm checkout which allowed us to enjoy a fabulous lunch at Drift before we left. My only complaint, and a mild one, is the seating at Drift. They have these large round "beds" on islands on a pool of water which we opted out of and chose the regular outdoor seating. The seats are so deep and the tables are so low that it is not conducive to a good eating position. Hopefully on the next renovation, they can provide some more appropriate lounge seating for dining. Everything else at this resort is fantastic and we will be back!

This has to be the best Hilton I have ever stayed at after being a Diamond member for over 15 years. The staff was beyond amazing and helpful. Peter that the welcome lobby was a delight every time we came in and out of the lobby. The executive lounge staff was so super professional and helpful they were always interacting with us and gave us so many hints to get around the area. The main dinning room for breakfast was crazy large and had the most amazing options of food for every ethnic possibility. We felt like we went around the world just at breakfast alone. The Restaurant staff was so professional and interacted with us every morning. Guide was beyond happy every day and he kept us smiling all day from his infectious smile. Jackie, Prem, Moo and others on this team are super stars. They even gave us a Bon Voyage thank you card on our last day. We left Pattaya heading to Phuket thinking this visit is going to be hard to beat! The rooms were very nice and we never had to ask for anything as everything was done in advance for us. The Security guard at the lobby was even amazingly wonderful. Having a few issues with my knee , he was always there to help me in and out of our taxi and made sure we knew the best route to take on foot. I cannot say enough about our enjoyment of this visit. 5 STAR PLUS !

The hotel is in a perfect location opposite the beach and attached to the shopping mall. Also 15 minutes walk to walking street. The hotel is very clean and modern. The concierge staff are outstanding and always very friendly and remembered from previous visits. Rooms have great views and housekeeping is excellent. Gym is very basis and small. Pool has beautiful views and is great to swim in as a reasonable length. Exec lounge staff are very friendly (especially the student guy with glasses who smiles at everyone). The lounge is very bright and with a nice balcony with 4 or 5 tables. Breakfast has a great variety and an extensive made to order menu - one of best of any hotel. Afternoon tea is also very pleasant and with many hotels having got rid of. Where the hotel fails is the evening service as if you come at 645pm, usually there is limited food, no glasses and no wine and so everyone waiting. I am not sure why they do not fully stock up on drinks as every day it was the same. The situation is even worse with the short hours of 5 to 7pm in the evening where as most Marriotts and many other Hiltons are 530 to 930pm. Even the basic Hiltons with short hours are 6 to 8pm and so more civilised. Perhaps a solution would be to bring back leaving spirits on display as the team cannot cope with serving and clearing tables with the limited manpower. Perhaps the biggest disappointment was the billing error. I paid in the exec lounge and then back in the room I reviewed and it made no sense. I had 1 night on part points and cash and the next 6 as cash. They had charged me over thb 11,000 for first night instead of about thb 800. I challenged and they said was all right in the system and to show e mail. Eventually they found and admitted the system had somehow charged me a full rate as I was in a different room category for 1st night which they upgraded me to anyway (and the rest of stay) I got a refund but it questions the reliability of their systems and how often they overcharge guests who do not check the bill. Despite evening staff shortages in the exec lounge and billing errors, it was overall a very enjoyable stay.

Since my last stay at Hilton Pattaya in Sep 2022, the hotel has gone downhill dramatically. What differentiates a 5-star hotel from a 4-star hotel is largely the proactive and attentive service. It is the sense of ease and comfort that I choose to pay a premium for. At check-in, the executive lounge staff member Leo tossed my credit card on the table when returning it to me, a sign of gross disrespect in Asian culture. Leo gave us keycards that did not work and we had to return to the executive lounge for new cards. When we returned, he ignored us. He assigned us a room that faced a concert stage that played loud music until 1am. He did not inform us that the concert went on until so late and that there were strong vibrations from the speakers. He said our room should be fine but he would provide us some ear plugs. But he never delivered the ear plugs. Even if he did deliver the ear plugs, they would not have blocked out the vibrations that made my chest palpitate. He neglected to inform us of the vibrations. We later found out that a quiet room was available on the other side of the building but he didn’t care enough about our wellbeing to assign us that room. As diamond members, we have the perk of a room upgrade. Leo did not mention that he was not upgrading us. He simply gave us our non-working keycards, made a gesture of disrespect, made an empty promise, neglected some pertinent information and sent us on our way. The room he assigned us was filthy. The cleanliness of the bathroom made me nauseous. Refer to the pic attached. The room TV which suggests that one could stream media from one’s phone, does not work. It was a waste of time. Sofitel hotels can get this right. Why can’t Hilton? During cocktail hour the executive lounge is like King’s Cross Station. It seems there is no longer much incentive to be a Hilton Diamond member. Accor status would be the way to go from now. For full transparency - we complained to the front office manager and we were given a discount on our stay. We were later upgraded to a better room. But this does not wash out the bitter taste that my experience with Leo has given me. It has ruined my holiday. I want to walk into a 5-star hotel and be at ease the moment I enter. This was not the case at Hilton Pattaya. I have had better service at 4-star hotels. I will not be staying here again. The management needs to have a good hard look at themselves in the mirror.

Only 3 nights stay but it was perfect ❤️❤️❤️ ✅ Great room with a lovely sea view ( we were so grateful to get upgraded into Sea View Room as a member of Hilton Honors) ✅ Very good breakfast (with various high quality tasty food ) served from a very nice restaurant area ✅Pool area is perfect ✅ All the staff are friendly and helpful and the service is GREAT ✅Direct way from Hiltton to the Central shopping mall is very convenient ❌ The standing shower would be perfect if water pressure is stronger. Went there as an anniversary getaway for my wife and I, the Hilton did not disappoint. The bathtub on the balcony was the icing on the cake for my wife. Beach and sunset views were stunning. The breakfast buffet is excellent, other dining options were Outstanding!!! The rooftop lounge is wonderful. Very pleased with the ease of checking in and out and housekeeping was very helpful working around our schedule and answering any questions we had.

I am Hilton diamond member and booked ocean view room for 3 nights but got a room with an angle view to ocean and city view on the 17th floor. I then was told by the front desk that ocean view is partial ocean view (which was not notice on the room description when I booked). The small angle balcony had vertical wooden bar. With this arrangement we only could see the city view through the gap of the vertical bar if sit down. We had to stand up to see part of the ocean (see pictures) It seemed that I was downgraded (instead of being upgraded as a Hilton diamond member should have) The breakfast staff were excellent, the breakfast itself not so great. There was no local Thai's dish at all. There were all Chinese food, which maybe because the hotel had to provide comfort food for the mass majority guests there. The executive lounge was very good and staff was also excellent. I will not plan go back to Pattaya but if I come back, I will not stay at this Hilton Pattaya.
