I just had another great two week stay at Baan Do Mai. Chris, the new owner made my stay very enjoyable because he makes sure every thing I require is taken care of and without fuss. The rooms are great value and the location is,in my opinion, the best in Pattaya. Close to shops and nice restaurants serving western food. It is...

Great for those on a budget who want simple clean accommodation without the most modern of things. Good location at the back of the Shopping Centre Tuk Com. Has stairs so use room 2 if you find it difficult. Some rooms have balcony Chris Hosie the owner is very helpful.

A change of owner has lead to the closure of the Café which was on its ground floor, with loss of any Food & Beverage; there were no staff (except the owner) to assist with luggage and the rooms were not as clean and functional as before.

Used to stay here all the time but seems to have changed hands. New owner wasnt around and I was checked in by the noodle man outside. Same old blue stinky carpet with obviously cat pee smell and same old furniture that hasnt been changed since the original owner started the place. Having a problem with the hot water I...

Some very misleading photographs can be found on Booking.com and on Trip Advisor, which I suspect are from some time in the past. The pleasantly furnished restaurant in the photos doesn’t exist; the coffee shop on the corner doesn’t exist. And, as far as I could tell, the staff don’t either. I arrived and was greeted by the manager who...

Mr. Warwick is very nice person, he sent a pick up taxi to Bangkok airport as we reached there at 2 AM. The hotel rooms are quite okay for us. Sleep quality was good. Ground floor has restaurant and library. Breakfast was awesome. Location is also very good. You can find many shopping malls near by.

I have stayed at Baan Dok Mai several times over the years and have always enjoyed my stay. This time I stayed three months split by a trip north and to Cambodia in between. When I began this stay the ever affable and gregarious Warwick was still the owner but in January the guesthouse was bought by the new owner...

Baan Dok Mai has changed hands with a new owner Chris. There are lots of changes, but one thing remains the same...great location and great value. I have been staying here for a number of years and it really is the best value Guest House in Pattaya.

Really enjoyed my stay here. The room was excellent with all I needed. The bed was comfortable. The room had plenty of space. The wardrobe had enough space for me. The TV reception worked ... often a problem I find when travelling. The one drawback was the carpet in the stairway which really smelt bad, however, this did not pervade...
