Well located but not high end. It's near nightlife which is good but it makes it noisy from the outside. Also internally it's noisy as thin walls. Pool area is OK. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms small and getting tattered. OK mid range option.
I have just returned from a holiday in Pattaya. We have looked at the Acqua Hotel on many occasions but it was usually out of our price range. However, on this occasion, it worked out well for booking. The room was really nice, a little small in places, compared to other hotels I have stayed in, but still, a great room. Nice comfortable bed and a powerful shower, what more do you need. The only downside for me, whether it was just my room, was the slightly loud aircon. With the bed being located directly under it, it made for some interrupted sleep on most nights. Most of the time, I had to turn it off at night. This is my only criticism. The rooftop pool area is very nice, with great views of the area. I can't comment on the breakfast offering as I didn't need it at the hotel, but it looked good from a distance. I would stay again if the price was right for me. The plate of fruit left in the room by the hotel on the last day was a nice touch.…
The hotel has decent facilities and a good range of options for breakfast. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. If you're someone who loves having one night stands, then it's in an ideal location as the red light district is right around the corner, or perhaps loves to party. If you're a light sleeper and want to relax, I'd recommend finding a different hotel preferably somewhere away from the red light district, as the music from the minibars certainly is very loud and be warned it goes onto until 2am. If you complain to the reception staff, all they do is apologise and mention nothing can be done to prevent it. Worst room is 2513 far corner in second building. Some of the rooms are decent size but very tight if you have a king sized bed, as there isn't much room to maneuver.…
Great hotel with friendly staff. Old school courtesy with doormen opening doors for you as you approach. Close to all the action of Treetown, LK Metro and Soi Honey but tucked away in a quiet Soi just up from Everest Indian restaurant so peace and quiet when you need it. Rooftop pool is a bonus. Plenty of English speaking TV channels, especially sports channels. Highly recommend!
Average hotel. Pros-location is close to nighlife, staff are excellent, rooftop pool, nice bathrooms. Cons-rooms are very small, beds uncomfortable, noisy guests in the cheaper rooms, the areas a bit shady and quite noisy.
Stayed here dozens of times, the bellboy says “welcome back sir”. I’ve sent hundred of people to them and honey group in general. Quite aware of the 2 pm check in time I turned up at 11.30 as often they might have a room available. I prepaid 6 nights via agoda as it was past the cancellation window when I turned up. Instead of telling me my room would not be available until 2 pm the started processing all the paperwork. Passport copy, singing the agreement etc. what a delight I thought. Then I was told to come back after 2pm, and even then the lady said she could not guarantee a room would be available. They’d already signed me in and my money was gone. She should have been honest and told me to come back at 2pm and then process the paperwork triggering payment to the company. I simply got my bag, booked another hotel, ordered a Grab taxi and was on my way having put down the lost money to experience. …..and whilst I was waiting for my taxi to new accommodations the bellboy came running out and said “Sir, your room is available now” Just a filthy staff member probable doing her best to lose customers when clean ready rooms had been available all the time. I just knew she was lying….…
screams, screams and screams, doors slamming and girls drunk until 4am from the room across from mine on the fifth floor. At first I didn't give much importance, but after 9 nights in this condition, I politely asked if I could change the room to another floor. Incredibly, the girl at the front desk showed no interest in my discomfort, in fact she made me feel like I was the problem complaining about some noise, and change the rooms many time was not good. (What does such a sentence mean? I still can't understand it now). I have always considered the staff of this hotel to be very polite and professional, but this girl has deeply disappointed me with her bad attitude, difficult to comment on. She immediately told me if I wanted another room I could go to the second floor, this was not a problem for me, but I thought it was at least a decent room, instead I found myself in an unclean room, the bed was full of small dead ants, the blankets smelled like that room hadn't been open in months but the worst thing was in front of the window exactly 3 meters away i had a building with 2 windows looking into the room and bathroom basically it was like being walled up in the room, i had no view and no i couldn't even open the curtains, i think it was the worst room in the whole hotel, basically it was like being locked inside in a basement and i think that room was never even assigned to anyone , given the dust present, the musty smell of the sheets and the dead ants ... honestly I have never felt so humiliated and mortified in my entire life, considering that I have been a customer of this hotel for several years, I was really very mortified. I wanted to leave but the girl at the reception with a really snooty attitude told me that I would not receive any refund. So I kept the room and went to sleep in another hotel. Too bad because my check out scheduled for March 12 took place regularly, but I would have had to return in Pattaya on March 20 and stay until May 7, or about 48 nights, now unfortunately I will have to look for a different accommodation.…
The staff were very polite, friendly and helpful, especially the beautiful lady at reception! The rooms were clean, attractive and comfortable. The rooftop pool was well maintained, the small gym was in good condition and the sauna was welcome. I would recommend it to friends. The breakfast was generous and nicely cooked.
I always stay at this hotel now in Pattaya it suits me . But i have to say the food was awful on this stay . Cost cutting food and not cooked properly . Shame . the rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff friendly , location perfect !
This hotel is closed, see the reviews on the most common booking sites. I do not understand why it is still on the booking sites. I received a message from Booking.com that my reservation is canceled and the money returned. I hope they open again and welcome guests.
