We stayed at Shewe Wana resort during our recent trip to Chiang Mai. I should say it was quite a pleasant experience. The service was excellent and the serenity around the resort campus gives you a nice relaxing feel amidst the city traffic & hustle bustle. During your stay do try their breakfast and lunch / dinner which though simple...

If you're looking for the new, modern, polished, urban chic then this is not the place for you. But, if you're looking for old world charm that is full of character then you'll love this place. The hotel is located a short distance east of the old town on a main road. It's easy walking distance to a 7-11 and...

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for 1 night on her birthday. Absolutely stunning place. The most beautiful mini gardens and vegetation in the middle of the city I've seen, really feels like it's own world. The staff are very friendly and helpful, even flagging down a taxi for us and getting us a great price! My girlfriend tried out...

This resort is close to the old city of Chiang Mai. Located on a main, busy road, it is surprisingly quiet and offers a calm and serene oasis form the hubbub outside. Staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were quaint, with echo's of french / chinese colonialism. Clean, secure and good value. Onsite restaurant was...

We really enjoyed staying at Shewe Wana. Service was excellent. Our room was delightful with many nice amenities, including specialty soaps, a mini bar & fridge, mosquito netting, etc. Loved having the option to swim in either pool and needed it because the heat was oppressive. Breakfast was great too. don't skip the coffee shop for excellent coffee and ver...

We found this place on TA and we were not disappointed. Having been picked up from the bus station (yes, we travelled there by bus), we were warmly welcomed by our driver and delivered to the hotel. We were given a warm Thai welcome complete with refreshing cold drink. The room was spacious and tastefully furnished and located in lovely...

This is a nice place to stay during your visit in Chiangmai. It is about a 15 minute walk to the night market. The hotel has free transport on set hours to the old city and to the night market. Breakfast is great, finally some good different breads and good jams. The only disappointment is the shower, hot or cold,...

Beautiful grounds not too far from things. I loved the Chinese Colonial design theme they have and feel like the details they have all around kept catching my eye. The spa and yoga are pretty pricey, so we didn't partake. They have two well-maintained pools and we were free to visit which ever one we wanted. Breakfasts were amazing, and...

I stayed in room 28, it was a bit small but nice and cozy, and it came with all basic equipment and a safety box, I also loved the garden and their breakfast area, I hangout at the coffee shop sometime, and was happy with my ice cappuccino, but best of all was the Spa, it was very professional and...

This was the best hotel we stayed in during our trip to Thailand. Such a clean, comfortable and relaxing place to stay in Chiang Mai. Just a 10 minute walk from the main city centre, this hotel is a small piece of tranquility in the middle of a busy city. The two pools were great to have a quick dip...
