Wifi is terrible, keeps dropping every 5 -10 minutes. So if you think you can stay in (as everything is shut down for 2 weeks) and watch netflix or youtube, think again! I have repeatedly complained about the wifi service and i'm told 'oh we will reset'? Reset! ? Get it FIXED! I understand that shared wifi may experience problems, because of usage, but the hotel is close to empty!

I am a repeat visitor at Jira Boutique. The people are nice, the rooms are clean and modern, the location is very good. It represents GREAT value. I happen to have dust allergies. The tiled floors give me a lot of confidence that I can sleep without stuffing up. Love it!

The rooms are dirty, i have asked two or three times to have my rooms cleaned only to find them untouched when return back. Very limited parking and for some reason staff park their own cars instead of allowing the spaces to be reserved for paying guests? Basic acknowledgement of a problem with room or surrounding rooms is usually ignored. The rooms are adequate but shower pressure is bad, soundproofing is non-existent, ac motor and vibration keeps you awake most of the night. They have signs in the hall ways to keep noise down after 9.00pm but nobody pays any notice and management dont know how to enforce. Maids are usually cleaning rooms by 8am or earlier, but do not keep noise down when doing it, with radios blaring and shouting in the hallways with people still asleep. If your unfortunate enough to have a room next to guests that come in late drunk, then dont expect any help from management as they do not care!

Walls and doors paperthin. Incredibly noisy, even from different floors and all through the night. The pool is right next to the parking and we were breathing the thick exhaust fumes all the time. Room was outright dirty. We found used tissues and piles of dust and crumbs under the bed and behind the nightstand. We stayed in Chiang Mai but went somewhere else after our 2 night reservation. For the same price there is much better.

I recommend you avoid going to this place. Staff is really not serious and they don’t look after the hotel. Such a shame as this is a nice place. Room was dusty, bathroom drain wasn’t working, air con very noisy, pool not looked after... and we gave them our clothes to be washed. We had a short timing, they reassured us saying they’ll definitely be back before our departure. It wasn’t the case, we had to argue so they would bring them back as they said they would. When we got them back finally they were all pink. Relatively expensive clothes and they said it was because some of our clothes were pink. Basically not their fault and wouldn’t anything !!! They just kept smiling / laughing ! They made the poor laundry lady refund us but the hotel didn’t take any responsibility ! Very unprofessional...

Hôtel room was dusty, obviously the pool hasn’t been looked after for a while and receptionist was really rude. We gave them our clothes to wash, they assured us they’ll be back before our departure and they weren’t. We had to insist a lot for them to bring them back and they came back pink. the hotel couldn’t care less. They Kept laughing... didn’t do any gesture at all. Very disappointing !

Second time in chaing mai. We stayed at porn ping before. Here was a lot cheaper with no breakfast but could not find any faults. Nice big clean room big double bed.no noise at all when we stayed. Staff pleasant and smiling. Ok it's a 10 min walk to the markets but good fun getting a tuk tuk ride home. Take a plug and soap if you insist but we had supply of shower gel in our shower. Recommend and will stay again

It will probably work out fine as long as you remember this not a boutique hotel. More like a basic businessman’s hotel. It’s clean and minimal with a good location and pretty quiet. Given the price I would have given an extra star were it not for some odd lapses. How hard would it be to provide a bedside lamp, a cheap bench for suitcases or a bar of soap? Small things matter. Daytime staff was friendly, night clerk not so nice. Overall the place is neutral, a year from now you won’t even remember being here.

laid back, clean and spacious rooms with balcony and big fridge and of course aircon. Staff not friendly and/or not competent. From lukewarm espresso to not understanding english and telling us no breakfast included while confirmation on website shows free breakfast. Wanting to charge breakfast. Manager very rude. We checked out and left. Also two women from holland had similar problems.

Very friendly reception staff. Location good if you are prepared to walk although night market only 10-15 min walk away ( we hired bicycles as we were staying for 5 nights) Room had everything you'd expect except soap or a plug for the sink. Overlooking the pool was a nice bonus. Wifi good and although no safe in room reception happy to keep valuables/passport down at reception. Walls thin on rooms but generally not a problem (although on our second night we were kept awake by noisy neighbours until 4am- did complain) Only sour note was on check out we had asked for a taxi to be called- it didn't turn up so had to pay 180tbh for friend of reception to take us!! Overall would stay again as for the price you can't really complain
