I had one night at the Eastin as part of the Thailand Stay and Go program. Excellent service on check-in and transport to the Chiang Mai Ram Hospital for a PCR test, and transport back to the hotel to a very comfortable room looking across the (usually) bustling Nimanheiman and Huaykuay Roads. A small, sunny balcony offered excellent views, and the small but efficient swimming pool on the second floor was a welcome release once my PCR tests came back negative. The Eastin Tan is small and modern hotel with great contemporary artworks, in a superb location.

Being confined can be stressful however the Eastin team and the mountain view Room made the 24 hour quarantine pleasant and tolerable . The Eastin team ensured that the proper PCR test documents were provided and also advising subsequent Hospital to visit for the additional PCR test require by the government. The toilet especially bathing area was terrible, there was lots of disgusting dark black stain likely from the black fungus which might be due to moisture. They should clean the bathroom more often. This is an 4 star hotel with not so good cleaning management

The room has no sound proof at all, we can here next room TV like every single things, and we can here they talking so clear. So I felt like I have no privacy at all. And the AC is super loud, I am actually not sure if it’s AC or A ceiling fan in the bathroom but it’s really annoyed. The hotel located in a super great and convenient location though. staff and masseur are very friendly and helpful.
