My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights in Sept. 2012.The hotel says they are "unpretentious" and that's exactly what they are ... simple, straightforward, and a good place to stay. We were greeted every morning and evening by the staff (very sweet staff), breakfast was simple but got you started and rooms were good quality but not glamourous....

We have absolutely nothing to complain about this hotel. They have offered us a 5 star hotel services. Staffs are very helpful, courteous and almost (if not all) every staff know which room we are staying. The reception staffs even greet us at the hotel doorstep with our room's key upon our arrival from each trip outside.  They also have...

I fully endorse the previous reviews on attentive staff at Rimping Village. Stayed for 5 nights there and the staff bent over backwards to assist us with our trip to northern Thailand, and even tuk tuk services and taxis. What set them apart from others is what happened today. We returned to Chang Mai after 3 nights away to get...

We stayed in the hotel for 4 nights and really enjoyed it. The staff are to be credited. They were so lovely and couldn't have done more for us. They booked activities for us, arranged tuk-tuk's and told us an agreed price which the tuk-tuk drivers didn't argue with. We were on our delayed honeymoon and after the first day...

We stayed here in late August and again in Sept, and this would rate as the most friendly, helpful staff we have meet in any hotel in ten years of travel in Asia, they went out of there way to assist and make the stay here more enjoyable, from the luxury pick-up vehicle to a surprise birthday cake and card....

We loved staying at Rimping Village. The hotel is small (only 34 rooms) and it is easy to get around from there. As in most hotels, we saw beautiful orchids placed everywhere. The pool area is well used and we found our room spacious and light. The breakfast catered for mainly Western tastes and offered enough by way of variety....

Booked their entry-level superior room for two night stay over a weekend. Great rates (booked through Agoda website) which include everything essentially! First, the room itself. King-size bed was huge. A little hard on the back but still very nice to lie on. The room is excellently equipped with most of what you could hope for in a great hotel....

A fantastic place to stay. We were here for our honeymoon and were not disappointed. It is only 600m from the central markets, superb staff, great restaurant. It's hard to believe that such a nice place is so close to town. Love this place!!!!

I really do not know what I should complain about this hotel... I think I am a very picky hotel guest but Rimping Vilage was really good: - great location: quiet but close to the busy and noisy city center - excellent room - strong wifi - good choice at breakfast - wonderful, excellent and helpful staff - everything spotlessly...

We stayed at Rimping for only one night after 3 nights in a quiet village outside of Chiang Mai and loved it. The hotel is beautifully laid out around the pool (which was quiet while we were there). We stayed in a family room which was more than adequate with good space, a king size bed and two singles, a...
