We last stayed at RatiLanna six years ago, for the wedding of some friends, and I had forgotten what a classy hotel it is. The decor is stunning, and the property has been beautifully maintained. The use of solid hardwood everywhere is immensely attractive and ageless. I love it. We had a 1-bedroom Executive Suite for our five-night stay, and although the hotel was full for the Xmas/New Year period, we paid a rate that was very reasonable by any standards. Staff are helpful and very pleasant, the room was superb, and the breakfast buffet excellent. While the location is not central, it is easy and quick to get to most parts of the city by car or taxi, and conveniently located for travel out of town by car.
We stayed there for 10 days and used all facilities, we had dinners, lunches and room services there. It’s a big five star resort by the river but not far to the old town of CM so I consider the location to be good Rooms and suites are so big and comfy - we stayed in the river view balcony deluxe, 60 m2 - all great with beautiful bathroom, bed, balcony looking over the river Common areas are beautiful with a large pool, amazing looking lobby and dinning area by the river. Gym is large but a little old, need renovation Pool deck is a little old and small for the Size of the pool which is like a lake Breakfast was good and I would say very good for the low rate now Services were excellent throughout from checking in, in room dinning, breakfast, gym
I stayed at this shamazing resort for four nights. Simply a stunning resort in all aspects. Service is 2nd to none. Room is spacious. Spotless and has everything a person would need. The facilities are on the money. Gosh, the pool is paradise. Staff are well trained, friendly and down to earth. All of them go the extra mile to assist with huge smile on their face. The food is just divine. Breakfast was super delish. Open buffet and main dishes were changed regularly whilst I was there. The surroundings are just perfect. A great spot to relax and have a “ ME TIME” and/or to have a wedding there. Absolutely stunning. It’s a guaranteed an engraved memory. Check it out and a must to stay there. Treat yourself with a unique experience at Ratilanna. Worth every single penny. I will defo return back again in due course. Thanks a million to everyone works there. You all made my stay memorable. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️❤️❤️…
We have a very impressive experience from the beginning of entrance this hotel, a warm welcoming at front desk staff. Our two accommodations with balcony so lovely nice & clean and facing to Ping river. We have a great hospitality from Ms.Oil (Sales Department), after we return back for dinner she has made our moment to surprised us with a complimentary birthday cake in our room. Bravo 👍 Highly recommended this hotel and we definitely keep coming back when we stay in Chiang Mai.
The room was clean, very tidy, impressed with the beauty of the Lanna from the design of the hotel and the room. The hotel a bit far from the old town but however there are taxi, grab which is negotiable price. There are so many restaurants nearby the hotel by the river for experience.
This is a very clean hotel. Service is excellent. All staff who we met always offer good service and friendly with smile. Breakfast has many variety and delicious. We love the Croissant very much. We really recommend to stay here. We will choose this hotel again.
We stayed three nights here. It wasn't very busy so we were upgraded to a suite which was amazing! Huge room and balcony with sitting room and huge bathroom with jetted tub and tv. Agree with other reviewer that the sinks/taps are a terrible design as water splashes everywhere otherwise the bathroom was great. Teak wood throughout the hotel was beautiful. Breakfast buffet was good, lots of choice and delicious cappucinos. Service was great and front desk and bellboys were very friendly and helpful. The pool was beautiful. A bit of a taxi ride to markets, shopping, etc. but cheap enough to get there.
The room is very comfortable. The ceiling is high which I absolutely adore. The staff are really helpful and professional. Overall a great resort. Restaurant: The breakfast was ok. Not a lot of choices compare to other resort I have been in Thailand. Also tried dinner here. Price was very reasonable and the food are decent. Also ordered a club sandwich as room service. It was a little cold. Housekeeping Housekeeping was the part I found could be improved upon. The housekeeping sometimes forget to refill certain things. For example they took the bathrobe to wash but forgot to refill a several times. The design of the bathroom sink is a bit problematic because it’s very hard not to splash water to absolutely everywhere.
The resort is at the riverbank with direct access to the river. The complex and the rooms are designed with water feature through out, and the colorful flora arrangement with the dark wood finishes nicely expresses the local ambience. Food and SPA service are maintained at high standard even in the low season. We witness some of the local Wedding by the Garden with the river at the background. Our stay was a really elegant and unique experience.
As other reviewers noted, this hotel seems to be focused on events. Be prepared for loud noises during the day for set up and testing, and music until the night about 10PM. The room was nice and comfortable decorated in Thai style. The bathtub large enough. Service was friendly. The Christmas Gala dinner was also balancing the B grade. I remember the beef tataki being nice, good effort on the turkey but some others needed improvement. Singer was also not amazing but horrible. So as a local hotel they managed to hit the B / B- mark right on the head.
