I wasn't able to stay at Eagle House (just east of the Old City in a quaint neighborhood), but I booked a one-day trek for a group of 17. It is very easy and pleasant to work with Annette and her Thai partner, as they are friendly, straightforward, reasonable, and ethical. We were picked up and dropped off around the...

It's a really nice place to take a rest, it's really quiet. The owner is friendly and can speak differents languages. They propose many activities, the cooking Thai food school on one day is nice. You can learn a lot of things about Thai food, cook 5 differents dishes for only 1000 bats ( 35 euros ). But the trekks...

I had the fan room with cold shower.Room is spacious. Bed is firm which suited me fine. For the sort of prices they are charging, It is very clean. room, bed, toilet/shower and pillows and linen were all very clean. I was one night in a similar priced guesthouse and the pillow was so disgustingly yellow. The staff is very...

I stayed here at the end of my Thailand trip. It's located in a nice area, accessed by weaving through interesting laneways, very close to the central area of Chiang Mai. Helpful staff. I was surprised at how quiet the area was at night (i.e. good sleep!).

My friend and I didn't stay here but booked a trek and a cooking class through Eagle House. Both were wonderful! We really enjoyed the Trek- one of the highlights of our Chiang Mai trip (aside from Songkran, of course)! The cooking class was fantastic. We ended up being the only ones and had a blast going to the market...

We came here after reading the great experiences people had with the treks here. For 250Bht the rooms are some of the cheapest and best value for money (though the shower doesn't have much pressure) you'll find in Chiang Mai. Annette and her staff are very friendly and helpful, making this a great place to stay, away from the busy...

My partner and I stayed at Eagle House for 5 nights and were very pleasantly surprised. It's only 370 THB a night for A/C and hot water. The beds aren't very comfortable but you won't find much cheaper in Chiang Mai so worth putting up with! We booked some tours through the front desk too. We did the Chilli Club...

I loved my stay. nothing fancy, but clean and quaint. decent wifi, good menu... felt very at home. perfect location close enough to the old city, yet on a delightfully quiet street to come home to after a busy day or night in the traffic. nice setting to meet people at with lots of picnic tables, and friendly workers. i...

I was going to arrive late into Chiang Mia so I emailed Annette during the day and she got back to me soon after confirming a room and with the address in thai for me to show a taxi driver. If you arrive at a sensible time they pick you up. When I got to the place the night security...

Stayed for three nights here. Service was very good and honest, sprite is a lovely guy and the owner Annette was chatty too. The food was average and priced fairly, it was a very DIY kind of place with honest book keeping of what you bought etc... Set back from the main road so not too much noise during the...

“Second floor on the balcony is quieter and one can keep the window curtains open without losing privacy. Also can hang wash on balcony. But stay clear of the room near the water tank. It makes noise and I heard from others it was annoying.”
