My friends are were cautious of picking up any of those leaflets adverts thrushes in your faces after a long train journey, but it was from seeing a platform advertiser we found the guesthouse. The price was great, the allowed three of to stay in a twin room at a fraction of a price more. The rooms were clean and...

We stayed there for 4 nights and it is good value for money. It is central, has a pool and the rooms are clean. The staff was very friendly in the beginning. When we decided not to book tours with them they were not as friendly any more. We would have loved to book with them but their tours were...

Refurbishments meant alright clean rooms, nothing to really write home about though. Nice pool and pool area. Wifi access is good as well. What really sucks is the staff. No nice smiles or greetings from anyone, they just give you a weird stare and at times I felt rather uncomfortable. Food takes a long, long time to arrive and restaurant...

Three of us spent a weekend in Chiang Mai and stayed here. Given the price, you are never sure what to expect in Thailand. It was not disappointing. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The Guesthouse, is well located, being only a 10 minute of walk from the Night Market, just down the road from the Sunday market, as well...

I stayed here recently on the top floor in an air con room and the price is 700baht. The walk up the stairs to the 4th floor every time is tedious Bird in the restaurant wakes up 5am every day and makes the most obnoxious noise which you can hear loud and clear. Time for food to come out of...

We stayed in this guest house for 5 nights and can say I was pleasantly surprised. Comfortable rooms and we had the court yard which was lovely. Pool is lovely and breakfast is very reasonable. Close to night markets and some nice places to eat.

We decided to splash out a bit on this hotel, and we weren't disappointed. The rooms were clean with excellent air conditioning, free toiletries and satellite TV. However, this is not to mention the best feature of the hotel which is its outdoor swimming pool. I'm not sure what the previous reviews were talking about or perhaps the management had...

I stayed here with my girlfriend in June 2011. We arrived at the train station with nowhere to stay so we went to the info desk where this guy showed us a glossy brochure with nice pictures of rooms and a pool. The prices were 400bht for fan room or 700 for aircon and higher still for superior rooms. He...

We enjoyed our stay. Rooms were clean and a good size. The TV had BBC World News, the WIFI worked well. We were on the top floor, 4th (or 5th by American counting) no lift/elevator although staff did help with cases. Quiet road, 5 minutes walk to old town. The small restaurant cooked food fresh, it was good quality (choice...
