This hotel was a bit run down the staff friendly enough, breakfast a bit small, staff friendly and tried to book me tours etc, they suggested markets I got a taxi and when I got there nothing, so a wasted trip. I wanted to buy the bed runner, when I wanted the queen size as stated in the price list...

We stayed at this hotel 3 nights in March and we were very satisfied of everything. The room was nice, clean and spacious. The pool and the sunbeds are a plus for this hotel but the water in the pool was a little to cold but still ok. We booked 2 tour from hotel and they gave us a good...

Nice location near Tha Pae Gate. Nice reception. Rooms are very small and bathrooms are smaller. No safes in the room. Nice pool but usually full of screaming kids. Parking is a problem.

After seeing this place at the train station offer 400 baht fan rooms we took the free shuttle. As we checked in we asked about tours etc. The next day we booked a cooking class directly as they wouldn't let me use the phone after telling them what it was for. The next morning as we got ready to go,...

I would strictly advise everyone NOT to book tours at this property, we paid 1000 baht each for a tour that operators outside were selling for 650 baht and when I confronted Moon (staff/owner) with this revelation, he told me that he will inquire and revert back. Well all he did was to inform me thru someone else that my...

My husband and I spent 4 days in December at the Chiang Mai Thai house and will definitely stay there again. It is centrally located to the new and old cities, night markets, canal. Directly across the street, an excellent thai massage parlour affiliated with the hotel. The staff was attentive and the thai cuisine tasty. They also had a...

Absolutely good value for money. I loved my stay here and loved the staff!!! They were VERY helpful and not pushy at all for booking any tours. They even helped get some money back from an agency that overcharged us. I was reading other reviews and people were complaning about the rules that they tell you to read when you...

I frequently come to Chiang Mai and have stayed here a couple of times. The 400 baht rooms are really the best deal in town - big room, clean, pool. I've looked at the higher priced rooms but have never stayed. In my opinion, if you want to pay more, you can also get a nicer place. The owner is...

This is the type of place where u lock your bags before you leave the room, and come back expecting something to be missing. We stayed here for 3 nights in Chiang Mai. We transferred from a lovely hotel (de chai) in the next Soi, and ended up here. I had looked at reviews on trip advisor beforehand, and walked...
