This is an older hotel and is definitely getting tired, however for the budget price you get a large clean comfortable room with AC, Wifi in room and daily room service. The staff are friendly and helpful and speak enough English to get by with. The location is excellent, right in the old city and surrounded by restaurants and bars... More

The hotel looks awful from the outside, a lot of renovation is going on - the pool wasn't accessible, which sucked as we didn't get any notice of this. The hotel is just extremely dated, the room was basic but comfortable and big. We had 4 of us on 2 double beds, it was nice to have friends around before... More

The rooms are very quiet and clean, medium in size with a nice bathroom. At night there is no noise and I always slept well. I recommend the rooms on the upper floors, as you can enjoy a better view of the city. The pool is nice but in my opinion should be maintained a little bit better. The service... More

AC barely worked, toilet barely flushed, bed was lumpy and incredibly uncomfortable, i barely slept and woke up with a very sore back. dingy and over priced. the place is a dump. staying here is like what i imagine staying in a soviet union army barrack would be like.

I stayed here for 10 days each year for the past 3 years in a row. I enjoy it because I'm comfortable here. Great location. And when they had the pool it was real relaxing. They don't have pool at the moment do to construction. The hotel and rooms are older. A bit run down... One plus- I'm a big... More

I stayed at this hotel during the Yee Peng festival and as the city was crowded, this was one of the few affordable hotels available online. So I went ahead and booked it. It is old, dark and dirty. It was not really cheap because of the festival, they bumped up the rates, but still, I would strongly recommend look... More

Back to the old girl again! When l first stayed at the Anodard 28 years or so ago, it was a very popular and at the time, pricey digs. She has lost a lot of her old grace but is still a great place to stay if you dont mind the wear and tear. The staff are great, especially the... More

The pool is nothing to desire about that's for sure, floating leaves and all sorts in there! Not too welcoming that's for sure. Rooms are ok, paying relativity cheap prices so it's what you can expect. Air con is good tho! Location is very good however! Free coffee and water which is fab in the heat! Reception staff were ok,... More

Not the best, the location is pretty good for bars and restaurants and the staff are friendly! It's pretty cheap, but you can get much better quality for the same price in the rest of South East Asia! The rooms don't look like they have been touched since the 70's, the beds and furniture is wrecked and our shower didn't... More
