I stayed here with my boyfriend on two separate occasions during our time in Chiang Mai. We payed £4 for a double room which was clean with towels provided. Due to the drainage system there is sometimes a bad smell that comes from the bathroom, but for £4 a night we didn't mind. The hotel/hostel is a great place to...

Comfy common areas, good breakfast, friendly staff and a central location make this place rock as much as Chiang Mai does. Really enjoyed the great outdoor spaces to hang out and the self serve bar. Also met some fun people and booked a couple of great tours thanks to Julie's. We'll stay here again anytime we're in town.

In two months of travelling, this was probably the worst hostel I've stayed in. Yes, the lounge are is a nice place to hang out and meet people and the rooms are quite cheap, the cheapest you will find in such a central location probably. But they are also dirty, with rock-hard matresses and poorly lit. Rooms in the stairway...

Long time passed between today and my trip in thailand but i have promised to let a comment. I went with my best friend in this guest house and at the start we planned to stay just two nights. Finally we spent 5 nights julie's. I want to thank you the team in generally, they were perfect but 2 persons...

Really enjoyed my stay at Julie's. If you're a solo traveller it's a great place to meet other people as they have a nice communal area at the front where both Julie and non-Julie guests hang out. The staff are great- really knowledgeable and friendly and will help you organise any trips you want. It's great value if you're on...

After a 3-night stay at Julie's I can say that everything about my experience was positive except for the poor customer service I received. I enjoyed the people I met there, the rooms, the hot shower, the lounge area and the location of the guest house. The rooms are colorful, our particular room was orange and cheery. The price of...

I was travelling on my own around northern Thailand and Julie's was the nicest place where I stayed. Rates are so cheap being able to have a room just for yourself for a really good price. Also, they have all kind of food on their restaurant, not just Asian food. You can also find typical dishes from Austria, Germany, etc..

I've been there twice, and yes the second time I was praying for a better service than the first time but unfortunately I didn't get it. First of all, you do not feel welcome when you arrive, everytime you go for a question, they look at you in a way you just want to turn around, if they know the...

This place is well known, has a good reputation and is in high demand, to the extent that the staff don't need to bend over backwards to win the hearts and minds of guests. However, I spent 5 days there and found that overall its a cool place, is very good value for money, private rooms at 200 baht are...

Can't believe what happened to me here! Firstly check in was a hassle for no reason, I wanted a private room but they kept trying to make me share with another girl also checking in for a private room. Eventually I got a room, sure it was cheap, but terrible mattress that poked me all night, dirty sticky floors, window...
