We returned to Chiang Mai after a twelve month absence. Checked back into Baan Orapin and it was if we hadn't been away. The service and hospitality was still fantastic. The rooms amazingly comfortable and well thought out. The pool - incredibly refreshing particularly after bike riding in 41 degrees. The hardest choice was which "set" to have for breakfast...

We chose the Baan Orapin solely on the basis of reviews here on Trip advisor and we were not disappointed. We were travelling with our two daughters 16 and 11. Our next stop was crazy Patong so we wanted to show them a little culture in Chiang Mai and the Baan Orapin helped us out nicely. We loved the rooms,...

I travel to CMX for work and Baan Orapin is always my choice. The property has been renovated to include a shop in the front known as Sop Moi - a lovely little place to pick up great textile pieces made by hand. Back to Baan Orapin - I love the touch of traditional architecture - lots of wood. The...

Walking in to the Baan Orapin felt like coming home. We were return visitors – but there is just something about this place that makes you immediately relax and feel at home. The Baan Orapin is a family run boutique hotel/B&B. It has a total of 15 rooms include superior rooms and suites. There are a number of beautiful Thai...

We stayed in this hotel at the beginning of April this year. We were so pleased with our entire experience. The staff was wonderful, the property was perfect and the food was great. It was just a short walk to the footbridge that is used to get to the city center where all of the sites are located. About 10...

We stayed at the Baan Orapin for the second half of our trip to Chiang-Mai. Staff were friendly. The grounds were lovely and the larger of our rooms (we had 2 connecting rooms) was spacious and comfortable with a lovely bathroom. Smaller room (near the pool) was quite small and bathroom not as nice as the other - but it...

The cook and I stayed here for three nights and enjoyed the rooms and their service, we stayed in a Junior Suite at the rear of the property that was quiet and close to the pool. The owners of this Guest House understand how to run a professional establishment and were attentive without being overbearing, the grounds are private, peaceful...

We spent 2 nights but wished it was longer. Excellent location across the river away from the noise and clutter of the city. Easy walk over the foot bridge to access all the streets, shops and madness of the traffic in downtown Chiang Mai. Baan Orapin is a peaceful retreat when it is time to come "Home". Great restaurants just...

This is just as fabulous as all the previous trip advisor reviews. We felt like we were coming home everyday. Peaceful, quiet and refreshing. Make sure to pre order and try the Northern Thai breakfast. Opas was most helpful in organising a motorbike for us and answering an questions we had. All the staff were fantastically helpful and polite, something...
