We loved Chiangmai but probably the best part was staying at Bain Orapin. It is beautiful. The website pictures don't do it justice. We thought we were in a palace. It was definitely fit for royalty. A lush oasis, great location. And Pepsi, the manager, was so good to us- and everyone. It was a treasured experience.

Surpassed my expectations and fell in love with Baan Orapin ! We stayed for 7 days and by the end, it felt like home. My room had a cozy atmosphere with wooden accents. It had a large living room and bathroom. It was very clean ! Bed was comfy and sheet soft. We felt very safe as well since the...

We have stayed here numerous times over the years and it never fails to disappoint. Rooms are private with balconies or terraces and the swimming pool is lovely. Service is not particularly attentive so if you are expecting the type of place where people bring you drinks and the like all day this might not be for you. However if...

What’s not to love in this amazing professionally run B&B. Location: Set back from the road behind big gates. Within walking distance of numerous riverside restaurants and the shops and night market. Property: A beautiful property, surrounded by lovely, very well maintained gardens, good swimming pool and great rooms. We requested rooms at the back of the property and had...

We stayed here with our two young children and it was so lovely. It feels like a tiny bit of quiet paradise when you enter in through the gates. We had a two bedroom suite and it was so clean and beautifully decorated. We all enjoyed the pool and breakfast on the deck was a great start to our day....

We had an amazing stay at Baan Orapin! The property and the rooms are gorgeous - beautiful trees and greenery, lovely main house, and stunning rooms, with teak wood furniture and decorations from local artists. We had a huge, beautiful room towards the front of the property, and it included a king sized canopy bed, a lounging area, a spacious...

I was really looking forward to staying at Baan Orapin after reading some of the rave reviews it gets on Trip Advisor. I have to say that I agree completely with them. Its a half hour walk or a 5 minute tuk tuk ride to the old town but once behind the guest house gate you would think you were...

We spent three nights here while exploring Chiang Mai, and really enjoyed it. The room was comfortable, the room and grounds were beautiful, and our host (Pepsi?) was completely helpful. The Charoenraj Road was filled with fascinating and elegant shops of local ceramics, fabrics, fashions, handmade paper, gorgeously painted ceramic elephants, a lovely tea room, and several good restaurants (beyond...
