Sadly, we just left Libra Guest House. We absolutely LOVED it there! We went there off a Lonely Planet forum recommendation and they definitely did not disappoint! We were planning to stay for only 3 days and ended up staying about a week. The location is great. Inside the Old City on the side of town near the Ta Phae... More

The staff at this guesthouse are what makes the experience so positive. We were welcomed with open arms and they were very on their game in terms of booking treks and excursions. My travel partner got sick and they were so nice about giving her food after hours. Location is great, in a quieter area that's still within walking distance... More

A group of 6 of us stayed here! Right when we arrived they helped us plan a trek, stay in Pai, and many activities we wanted to do! They were very helpful! The trek was amazing!! The elephants were treated with care, so chains and had a freer life than camps. We had a lovely guide named Nu! Breakfasts were... More

We found Libra Guesthouse in the rough guide book and it seemed to be in good spot so we headed straight there from the train station. It Iooked very clean and pretty modern from the outside and the staff were very nice. They have three different room options starting at 250baht for a fan and cold shower option. They also... More

We loved this place - the family that run it are so welcoming and accommodating, and I loved how they eat their dinner in the communal area. When my friend was ill they were incredibly helpful and it felt like having a mum about! Definitely not a party place, but a nice chilled atmosphere. Rooms were nice - great value.... More

If you're looking for a relaxing, quiet place with cheap and spacious rooms in central Chiang Mai, look no further. I stayed in one of the fan rooms right in front of the garden for 250B which was quiet, clean and big enough. The wifi worked in the room and it was great to have the garden with the hammocks... A group of 5 of us did an overnight trek with Libra to the national park and had THE BEST time! Our guide, Kallou, was so much fun and took excellent care of us. None of us could choose a favorite part of the trip, between swimming under waterfalls, hiking through the jungle, cooking an amazing dinner, singing around the... More
