I spent four nights here recently with my wife, son and his girlfriend. We had two deluxe rooms next to each other, but not adjoining. The hotel and it's staff were superb with a "special mention" for Paul Walker, the General Manager who could not have been more helpful and charming. The atmosphere is calm and serene, as is the...

We had just 2 nights of staying in this charming place but enjoyed it a lot. Beautiful interior with a lot of antique decorations and details, nice pool area, great service and breakfast and perfect location. Was a pleasure to meet owner and creator of Rachamankha and the manager who was very attentive and helpful. I would recommend stay at...

For once, i'm glad not trusting Tripadvisor, as they should be in top-5. This little charming hotel with only 24 rooms is Thai owned. This used to be a Relais and Chateaux (R&C), but don't worry, you'll get the same services and stunning hotel for a fraction of the price (which would mostly go for R&C fees...). They now belong...

This hotel is an oasis in the middle of the mad old city of Chaing Mei. The hotel is like something out of an old movie, and one expects Hercule Poirot or Humprey Bogart to stroll through one of the doors and no one would take any notice. My husband and I stayed for six nights and thoroughly enjoyed the...

What an amazing hidden gem of a boutique hotel. Our last night of our trip just ended on a high from the minute we walked in the gate. We could fault nothing....food, service, decor, rooms, ambience, staff, an amazing tranquil place and one we will return to.

We stayed in this tiny slice of tranquility for two nights and loved every second. The ambiance, the decor, the smiling staff, the tranquil pool, the wood library with complimentary cognac all made our stay incredible. The hotel was built and designed by a father and son duo from Bangkok, and they modeled it in a traditional Chinese fashion intertwined...

We stayed here seven months ago, but we still keep talking about this retreat. Beautiful architecture and peaceful, with incredibly attentive and smiling staff, and one of the best restaurants we found in Thailand. We had busy schedules each day, but as soon as we entered the courtyard we could almost feel the calming effect of this hotel. We were...

The Rachamankha is a wonderful boutique hotel just inside the old city wall. Fed up with the usual 5 star hotels and looking for something different, then this is the answer. The design is traditional and peaceful in the Thai fashion. The rooms are a good size and very comfortable. The food is excellent, good service and served in attractive...

We were only at Rachamankha for two nights and I wish we could have stayed longer. We were in a deluxe room and it was a nice size, with enough room and a very comfortable bed. The whole hotel is gorgeous and immaculate, and very peaceful. It was a very nice oasis to come back to. The breakfast was excellent...
