Rooms are of a good standard, owners are really friendly and helpful. Close to the night bazaar. The gardens are beautiful, over looking the river ping. My children enjoyed exploring the garden and really enjoyed the pool. I enjoyed relaxing in the pavilion. Truly lovely place to stay, and will be first port of call on next visit to chang...

2nd time staying at this lovely Hotel. Dang and her team can't help you enough, it was a pleasure to stay again. The rooms are spacious, and I recommend a room with a balcony overlooking the pool, which is a tropical paradise. The gardens, right next to the ping river are beautiful, with a lot of interesting plants and ornaments...

It has been several years since I last stayed at the River View and I was once again delighted with the staff and value. The included breakfast is very good and the rooms are spotless. Despite being an older building, it retains it's charm and the garden and pool overlooking the river are unique. For someone looking for centrally located...

My wife and I were booked to stay at Galare Guest House at the advice from a friend who had been there a year or so ago. However, they had overbooked, and we were sent over to River View Lodge, which was about double the price (about $45 USD/night rather than $22) without having to increase our rate. Upon arrival,...

We stayed for three nights in early July. As a family with 4 children, the hotel were great to put two camp beds in one room and we had two next door rooms. The staff are very friendly, breakfast was great (and they made it early for us when we had to leave for a flight) and the whole place...

We spent four nights at this adorable, charming guesthouse on the river. It is truly a gem. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and will help arrange tours. The pool is nice and the breakfast - which is included - is delicious! Fresh croissants and fruit and your choice of eggs and tea or coffee. It...

It's not in the city center, but after you spend a few hours in the city center, you'll appreciate that. The backstreet location makes it QUIET, even during rush hour. The grounds have a lovely garden and the pool is great for a dip during the hottest part of the day (~12-3 pm). A bit more expensive than "rock bottom"...

We just spend four days at The River View - and what a wonderful, little oasis it is! We paid 1,500 baht per night and that included a fabulous breakfast, so it was definitely great value. Our room was lovely with a balcony overlooking the beautiful gardens and pool. The hotel is filled with books, antiques, flowers and homey artifacts....

We have just spent a week in this peaceful guesthouse, sheltered from the hustle bustle of the busy city. The guesthouse is 27 years old and the owners live in the adjoining house. The house and garden are filled with a collection of antiques/collectibles/junk -- really charming -- and the garden has hundreds and hundreds of interesting plants. There is...

The best part of this small hotel was breakfast in the garden overlooking the Ping River. THe rooms were spacious and clean but without charm. The pool was a little too heavily chlorinated, but still refreshing. The hotel is near the the historic part of town, but at the end of a lane, so it is quiet. The hotel is...
