We planned to stay at Dozy House for 2 nights, however we kept adding more dates to our stay. We loved it so much. Nina was so friendly and helpful. It was a quiet place to stay but a short walk away from the buzz of the city. The room was clean and the shower was GREAT! If we were to go back to Chiang Mai, we would stay at Dozy House. Thanks again Nina for such a wonderful stay.

It was one of the highlite due our one month trio. The owner so extra friendly and the stuff as wellness. They arrange everything on a High legel. Experience with elephants And TOTO Sanctuary so good. Actually everything what suggested or organized for us was awesome. You can see by plane that they do enjoy what they do. Breakfast so good as well. You can trust them. Thanks for everything and all attention what you did for my family. Will be back.

This place has loads of pro's but also a few cons. Pros: The bed was the most comfortable and largest we have slept in since being away, the rooms are huge, the shower is excellent and the Wi-Fi is very good. There is also a safe in the rooms. Location was central in the old town. Cons: our room (3a) was right next to a school. The kids are very noisy but we were already up so it didn't bother us too much. After we went down for breakfast we couldn't hear the kids at all, so I think it was just in our room. The breakfast was awful, but it was included so may be just go elsewhere. The only thing on offer was eggs and toast, the fried eggs were stone cold and not cooked well, and there was only 1 small toaster for all of the guests so we had to wait a lot. Neutral review of the staff, they were ok but you could tell they didn't really want to be there. Although it sounds like a lot of cons, the pros far outweigh them and we'd recommend this place for a home away from home.

Reading the quotes at the lobby's wall they certainly treat you as family. From getting a drink from their ref and just putting the payment in a box. It felt like the owner trust their guests so much. It's really cute seeing their family photos at the lobby. The owner's kid was very friendly. I got fond of him. As we booked a taxi... it was the owner who drove us to the airport. We were overwhelmed on how friendly and hands on she was.

This is such a great place to stay in the heart of Chiang Mai. Our private room was very clean, super spacious and had everything you could need- great AC, huge comfy bed, awesome shower, hairdryer, drying racks, even a washing basket. We got sick and ended up extending our stay to over a week and were so happy that we had this place to recover in as it was nice and cool, very clean and the family that runs it is so nice!! There's a 7/11 just down the road and lots of cafes and restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Highly recommend this place, only downside is the wifi was quite rubbish other than that was perfect! The free breakfast is also really good and they have a fridge downstairs for you to keep your food. You can also have free toast/coffee whenever you like :)

Myself and 3 friends stayed for just two nights and we were sad to leave!!!! The staff were so so lovely and very helpful and accommodating! Also a very sweet little boy! The complimentary breakfast was delicious and so was the free tea and coffee! The rooms were basic but very lovely and clean with a lovely bathroom and the air con was a dream! The ladies there were so lovely and helped us so much with everything - booking taxis, where to go in Chiang Mai, and especially our washing!! They went out of their way to help us!!! Would definitely recommend to everyone and anyone!!

Booked 21 days here after reading reviews. Had been travelling in Indonesia and Malaysia and last couple of hotels were not good so was a bit worried about what I would find at Dozy House having committed to 3 weeks. My flight didn’t get in till just before midnight and reception closed at 9. But I was met at door and didn’t have to check in or pay until next day. I appreciated that as I got had been travelling since dawn and was dog tired. The room was very clean and comfortable, good air con and good shower with endless hot water. Breakfast basic but lots of it and good. Also liked that I could choose when to have room cleaned and bedding and towels changed. Stops all that unnecessary washing which so many places do. Jina and her family and staff are so welcoming. You are made to feel part of the family. Read the reviews about being next door to school and therefore noisy. The only noise I sometimes heard was the school band in the afternoon as I was walking back to hotel. How can that be an issue at 2pm? There was band practice on a couple of evenings which wasn’t loud and didn’t last long. Quite enjoyed it really. It was totally quiet in evenings and nights for 19 of my 21 nights. Clearly says fridge will be put in room on request. And big thanks for getting up to take me to airport at 4am. Can’t say enough good things about my stay and I will definitely be back. And will rectify my omission - in heat of early start I totally forgot to put money in for staff tips!! I will not forget to double tip on next visit.

We stayed at DH for 4 nights. The rooms were clean and a very generous size with a probably the cleanest bathroom we've had in Thailand. It also came with towels and shampoo/shower gel (not cheap stuff). The rooms themselves were basic but had everything you need, you can ask for a fridge free of charge. They have lots of tour leaflets available, we booked one activity and it was sorted in minutes. We didn't hire bikes/mopeds etc. but you can do so. Breakfast was decent, hard boiled/fried eggs etc, normally a salad option and there's tea/coffee/toast free all day. You can buy beers etc too. Location was great inside the old city. Not in the busiest area but you pay more for that premium. We didn't mind walking 20 mins or so (we found it easier to walk around the perimeter wall and then back in again). Gina and her family we absolutely wonderful and helpful! They also spoke great English which is always a bonus.
