The staff are good and the service is also good but there are things that are just not up to scratch and what is expected. Firstly the car park room for about 16 cars normally unless something is happening in town and then they squeeze twice s many in and its a game to get your car out, Secondly the water all the time there was residue coming through and being deposited into the bowl, wash or clean teeth with water like that? Had to use the drinking water for that. Breakfast was a straight choice 2 eggs a slice of ham and 2 of the small sausages or pork and rice soup. When the locals turned up on Saturday the first choice was gone. Although there was a place for tea only coffee was available. Overall this was a disappointing stay not sure we would use it again, probably not.

This is a fairly typical budget Thai style hotel. I chose it because it was just inside the Old City and had parking. Very easy to get in and out of this hotel if you happen to be self-driving. The room was basic and a bit dated but was clean and comfortable enough. The Wi-Fi, hot water, air conditioning and refrigerator all worked just fine. I was very happy to have a large selection of English Language news stations to watch on a modern flat-screen television. There is a pool on the property that would be wonderful to use during the hot season. The staff was friendly and helpful and made the rooms up every day. At a walk in rate of 500 THB I think this hotel offers a good value. I spent seven nights in the hotel and very well may return again.

Nice hotel, staff are friendly. Place is a bit dated but good. Beds are quite hard so if you need a softer nights sleep try elsewhere. Not tried the pool yet but looks ok. Local amenities are good and Chiang Mai is much quieter than BKK.

15 of us stayed here as part of a group tour. Staff were efficient with good English spoken. Large reception and a room to store luggage if you were too early for check in. Rooms were ample size although the beds and pillows were rock hard ! Pool was nice with seating around, not many sun beds, but I guess most people would be out sightseeing. We never had a problem getting a sun bed or chair. We booked a trip to the White Temple etc from the hotel lobby, the lady there was very helpful and recommended a private tour, so no rushing from place to place, the driver turned up on time and was very courteous, the roads to Chaing Rai were not the best as they were putting in a new roadway, our poor driver negotiated them so well, he deserves full marks as we didn’t get back till later than expected. Hotel is within walking distance of the night markets and nightlife. Nice Sweet Place is a lovely clean cafe 3 mins walk from the hotel, the food is scrummy ! Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel sits at the wall of the old city and is centrally located . 5 minutes to the East Gate of the old city , and 3 minute to the south gate night market . The room is nice and the floor is tiled clean , the bath room is good and everything works well , the bed is clean and firm and all the settings OK , people are exceptionally friendly and helpful , they are pleased to serve . The breakfast is nice and generous . There is a pool also where you can hang out and enjoy the sunset. Its near the airport and only cost 120 B by Tuk Tuk or 200 B by Taxi .. THere are many eateries and fruit stands nearby so you dont go hungry . ALso across the street you can wlk down to the night market or open market area and shop till you drop . You can just walk around without calling cab . You can wlk to the two famous old temples in the old town in 30 min , there are many bars and restaurants there also . THe hotel is very classy and a formal hotel with 6 floors and lift . the air cond is cold and if you drive your own car there are parking space . THe price is also on the low side for its vakue offered and I recommend this hotel .

The hotel is centrally located in Chiang Mai. Walking distance to most of the big attractions in Chiang Mai. I was allowed to check in early. I stayed one day before a tour. My other day was with the tour. The room is clean. There is not a lot of lighting in the room. Your key keeps the minimal lighting on (if you come with someone there is only one key). The shower is similar to a handicap shower (use your towels to keep the floor dry). The room comes with free bottles of water. There is a small refrigerator. A small orange contraption to boil the water if you like. I did not use it. The first day I did not purchase breakfast ($6 American dollors or 150 baht). The second day it was included with my tour room. You had 2 choices eggs with ham or a poriage with pork. I don't eat red meat. They made me eggs without ham. There is toast, coffee, and juice. The butter and jam are in a container you use yourself (it looks like it isn't cleaned daily). I figured the jam was safer to eat. I wouldn't pay extra for the breakfast. The staff is nice. They don't go out of their way for you. It isn't a bad place to stay for the price.

Reception and rooms are clean and modern but the beds are rock solid. The pool is a nice amenity but there were only around 6 sun beds which isn’t ideal. Close to many things in Chiang Mai and staff were helpful. Never had any problems with the shower. Breakfast on the other hand was poor. A bad selection of sausages, ham in water and beans etc. Margarine was provided for the toast however it was a large block and so everyone shared from the same margarine, causing bits of toast to get stuck in it. If I were to be in Chiang Mai again, I would consider returning.

When we arrived we assumed a basic hotel on a good location. The location is good but that’s about it. The matresses are so hard it feels like you sleep on the floor. The shower had no warm water and no real pressure on the water. Breakfast was terrible, i don’t know what they do with the drinking water at breakfast but it has a very bad taste
