This is an excellent establishment. Victor, the owner, and his wife are very welcoming, helpful, and honest. The rooms are cleaner, more comfortable, more thoughtfully set up, and less expensive than any other guesthouse/hotel/hostel we looked at – and we viewed a lot of rooms in Chiang Mai. After two months of backpacking around South East Asia, my partner and...

Cant say enough good things about this charming little hotel. Its a perfect base to explore Chiang Mai, the rooms are spotless and roomy, the staff are the friendliest we have ever met and always greet you with a smile and are happy to help with any enquiry. The public areas are a great place to relax with a cold...

Stayed here for total of 7 nights checking out today. Very reasonably priced rooms. Lovely decorated and clean rooms. They do not provide breakfast however many options nearby. Excellent service and advise from owners and their staff, especially Jim - a lovely lady. This is a relatively new building that has charm. The rooms have airconditioning, small fridges, TVs, WIFI,...

We stayed 4 nights at Top Garden, checked out this morning. What a wonderful experience. Victor and Thunya are incredibly friendly, warm, and helpful. They and their staff went out of their way whenever possible to help us and make recommendations for our trip. They arranged transportation for us on multiple occasions and gave us a great overview of things...

We booked a suite in this small guesthouse run by Victor - a charming Canadian and his lovely wife Thunya. We did not arrive until late evening (took train from Bangkok to Chiang Mai - don't do it, fly if you can!) and Victor was there waiting for us. The suite is a reasonable size bedroom,, with s small dressing...

Top Garden really made our stay in Chiang Mai special. We arrived late at night and bleary eyed from the Bangkok train, but from the moment we arrived until we left, we were very well looked after and didn't want for anything. Victor and Thunya went out of their way to be kind and helpful, and they have excellent knowledge...

Very well located, close to town square and popular markets. This guesthouse is well kept and very clean. The price is fair and you get your money's worth. The owners are well informed and are fluent in English French, and Thai. So it is easy to get the info you need to get around. Get up early and grab an...

After reading all these amazing reviews on Top Garden we decided to book a room for a couple of days. In a nutshell this is seriously one of the best places we have stayed during our 3 week trip in Thailand. The room we were given was amazing! Very spacious with a little fridge, cable tv, a desk, a lovely...
