Loved our stay here, the owners were so helpful - gave us a map with locations of where to eat and what was happening while we were there. Helped book excursions with discounts. Bed was pretty hard but that's pretty well the standard across Thailand. Clean rooms, great location, had a great stay! We will be back!

After many repeated trips to Chiang Mai, I have finally found my favorite upper budget guesthouse! Lovely couple owns and manages this quiet guesthouse and have high standards. Rooms are cozy, very comfortable, immaculate. The rooms are cleaned daily. Charming peaceful ambiance with a few good choice of restaurants surrounding. Top Garden is a basic guest house but really cheap and what makes me want to come back is the lovely stay we had. Thunya and Victor were really amazing and they can book you tours, recommend activities and guide you around town. Top Garden is not inside city walls but you can get there in a 7 to 10...

Rooms are in excellent condition. Daily room cleaning and towel change was a norm. Located close to old Town, just outside the wall Chang phuak and tha phae are at walkable distance on either side. Bike rental are just next door. Don't use laundry services next door they over charge instead use coin operated washing machine which you can see...

Great value for money! The room was cleaned spotlessly every day. Lobby decor is charming, the room was quite simple but with nice firm beds. Helpful hosts, happy to help with the booking of any tours, though by the last few days we realised that any price advertised in the tour brochures could be negotiated and they could've told us...

Really nice owners, the room we stayed in was nice and clean, quiet and good value for the high standards they have. We wanted to stay longer but they were fully booked so we would recommend booking in advance. Bottled water brought into the room everyday which was a really nice added touch.

I stayed at Top Garden for 10 nights. One of the best place I had stayed. Great location and the friendliest people ever. Top choice if you are looking for a place with reasonable price. You have a choice of air con or non air con room.

The Top Garden Boutique's Victor and Thunya were wonderful hosts. The first floor covered patio was a great place for conversation and very close to liquid libations. The rooms were fine, though the AC on ours started dripping after a day.The top floor (3rd?) , where we were, had a lovely overhead fanned terrace. We sat out there quite a...

Top Garden provides a comfortable stay for an excellent price. The owners and staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Its location is perfect: walking distance to all "old city" sights, restaurants, and markets, yet in a quiet alley away from noisy streets. Airport is only a 15-minute,150 baht tuk tuk ride away.

Visited Chiang Mai on New Year 2012. Victor and Thunya were warm hosts, ready to cater to all our needs as well as offering great tips for treasures around the city. Top Garden is truly well maintained, impeccably furnished and conveniently located. We enjoyed ushering in 2012 in Chiang Mai and Top Garden was a big part of that!
