Pictures don’t really capture how beautiful and peaceful this place is, or how lovely it is to eat breakfast in the garden with the sound of the waterfall in the background. The breakfast buffet had exactly the kinds of food we wanted, in addition to some new things to try, and we looked forward to it each day. If you have back problems, you’ll find the dining chairs are more attractive than comfortable. I would suggest that the hotel keep some glass or plastic covers over the fresh fruit plates at the buffet. Food was delicious at dinner, also, but we found that part of the fun of Chiang Mai comes from trying as many of the delicious and inexpensive restaurants in the city as humanly possible. The hotel staff were very welcoming and nice, especially at breakfast. They were able to arrange a tour for us on short notice. We were a little sad to end our stay here, but we may be back someday.…
This hotel is located at the old city of Chiang Mai. From the first step into the hotel, you will feel that you’re here to relax and enjoy your stay. With the Thai tradition of accommodation, the staff are very nice, smiling, and helpful for any question. The facility is do beautiful, full of flowers, greens, and water. The relaxing sounds by the pool (the path to your room) get your to the right mood. Add to this the staff the keep cleaning the place nonstops and you know that they care about you and your vacation.
We had the best experience here. Lovely staff, very friendly and everything was really great. Rooms looked very good, clean and we felt really welcome and as a real guest. No request was too much! Thank you very much for your hospitality 🙏🏼
We spent 7 nights at Kodchasri Hotel. Had a beautifully comfortable room with access to the gardens. The room had everything we could possibly need, including great wifi. Lovely facilities- pool with super comfortable outdoor furniture surrounded by beautiful gardens. Nice little gym. Absolutely sumptuous breakfast with everything anyone could possibly want to eat! Very friendly and helpful staff, always happy to help with recommendations. Great location within The Old City, easy to walk around the town to any location, and plenty of red taxis around if needed for further journeys.
Just spent a week at this hotel and it was wonderful. Rooms were nice, pool was relaxing, staff were friendly and polite and the location is great. Would definitely recommend and would return again myself.
Lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff - WiFi could improve however we definitely would recommend this hotel. This is a charming hotel with a great ambiance. The welcome drink was a nice touch and the staff always pleased to help.
Have stayed here 3-4 times over the past 6 years- great location in old town, especially good for walking to major temples. Very nicely designed and beautiful pool and gardens- which are kept up. Unfortunately the buildings, linens, lobby and staff are all tired and need replacing or upgraded. It feels like ownership had a great concept and location, but is pocketing all the cash flow rather than investing some back into the property- needs painting, linens replaced, lobby completely redone along with restaurant. Food is horrible and shows no interest or inspiration. It would not take much to make this a special property!
We had a dinner here again. The food is delicious and service excellent. The outside setting is absolutely lovely and we'll be back again. Well done as there are so many great eating places in this town.
I was looking forward to my stay here after reading reviews, seeing pictures and recommendations online. I have to say the only accurate, positive features I encountered were the location, and aesthetics of the hotel. I felt a subdued vibe from staff members (apart from two female member's of staff on reception and in the restaurant, who were actually delightful) Unfortunately the walls seemed paper thin, which made it quite difficult to get a restful sleep from the outside street noise. Breakfast, again although visually very pretty, I waited around for quite a while before being noticed and the fruit on the buffet was being enjoyed by fruit flies (which I found quite off putting) Maybe my expectations following my research were high, but I value customer service and cleanliness over aesthetics and a misleading sense of luxury. The price of the hotel compared to where I stayed after, for half the price and double the service means I unfortunately wouldn't stay here again.…
We stayed in this hotel for 9 nights and cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment wr arrived on Chiang Mai the hotel representative greeted us warmly and took is to the limo. The car was spotlessly clean with bottled water for us. The seats massaged us which was a nice surprise. Upon arrival check in wasvery efficient and we were shown to our room, which was very large and comfortable. Everything about this hotel is catered to the guests comfort. The gardens are delightful and there are plenty of areas around the pool to sit and enjoy the surroundings. There is also a huge area under the main roof looking over the gardens, ideal spot to sit and relax with a book. The whole hotel has an art deco feel to it with oriental themes, it is very unique. Staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. I would definitely like to return.…
