We had a great stay at the Baan Jaja. The staff is very friendly and explained to us the city's main sights, the rooms are big and clean, we had our own bathroom and fresh water every day. The guesthouse also has a great location and everything inside the city walls - but also the night bazaar - can be...

The rooms were okay for the price, I'm not expecting a 5 star room. Could use a bit more dusting in my opinion. What I love most about the place is the owners. Kitty is a lovely lady she was able to help me to get to places where I want to go. The other owners were really helpful as...

It was alright. Clean and had all of the basics. The breakfast provided was very basic (it was better to just go to the street venders or nearby restaurants) and the windows didn't close so there wasn't a great sense of privacy or barrier from the noise. But it was a pretty good value for the price we paid and...

We enjoyed our stay at Baan JaJa mainly as the hostel is in a perfect location within the city walls close to the east gate, with excellent restaurants next door. The rooms are good value for money and breakfast is included. The hostel is pretty quiet if that's what you're looking for!

I stayed almost two weeks here and was more than happy. Room was clean and simple, had a fan and a/c. Everyone I talked to was nice. The location is great, surrounded by lots of good places to eat and close to the Thapae gate. Would have stayed longer if they had room.

Upon arrival the hotels owner, Kitty, greeted us and gave us a charming tour of her hotel and then gave us some fantastic information about chiang Mai - attractions, history, and directions! She was very kind and helpful our whole stay. Rooms are basic and clean. They have a great system for bringing you fresh drinking water everyday (overlooked by...

We booked just 2 nights, but ended up staying 7. The location is great, especially when the sunday night market is right around the corner (only on sunday of course). The owner helps you plan any tour you want and is very sweet. The breakfast is included which is good but basic. The garden/lounge is very relaxing with hammocks and...
