This hotel is excellent value. My room was on the small side but was comfortable and not a problem. It is out of the old city which at first I thought of as problem. However I realised the hotel was in a residential area with lots of local shops markets and restaurants targeting Thais. Dinner for 30 bahts! I was...

I recently stayed at Lotus, and I must say, I had an amazing time. It's an amazing hotel, and all the staff is wonderful. My room was immaculate and had all the amenities one could ask for. I appreciate the friendliness and courtesy of all the staff, and locals alike. I plan on returning soon. Thank you so much for...

The Lotus Hotel was my home for two months while I was in Chiang Mai, Thailand. I stayed there from the 10th of January to the 9th of March. Before I arrived, selecting my room was easy. I went to the hotel's website http://lotus-hotel.com/ and glanced at all the rooms and made my selection. I personally like a simple room...

I spent 18 days at this wonderful hotel. It was great not being in a large hotel where there are hundreds of people. Here, within a day, you knew all of the staff - AND they knew you. The owner was great - taking his personal time to make sure all of my needs / request were taken care of....

Stayed at the Lotus Hotel from February 8-13. There are 2 hotels in Chiang Mai called Lotus Hotel, so be careful when making reservations. The larger Lotus is called Lotus Pang Suan Kaew, and is located adjacent to the mall of the same name. This Lotus Hotel, is a small boutique hotel off Chang Pruek Road, north of the wall....

I've recently stayed at the Lotus Boutique hotel for 30 days from January to February 2012. I stayed two weeks in room 222 and two weeks at the studio. The owner is a professional with a huge staff that will satisfy your needs. The front desk staff will help you in the nicest way with directions. It's not hard to...

The room we stayed in here was excellent, and being able to view and specify which room you wish to occupy on the Internet when booking is a bonus as all rooms are slightly different. What I really liked about room 112 was the mezzanine level with the bed above the rest of the room which made great sense for...

I spent a lovely 2 weeks at the Lotus Hotel. Please don't get this hotel confused with another hotel in Chiang Mai called the Lotus Hotel Pang Suan Kaew or you will be sorely disappointed. Also be careful so that the taxi or tuk tuk driver does not try to hijack you to the Lotus Hotel Pang Suan Kaew as...

A room smelling like an old ashtray. Grousy sheets with cigarette holes all over. Dirty carpet. Cockroaches in the bathroom, fungus on the tiles. Breakfast not worth that name: bad juice, bad coffee, bad toast, cheap marmelade, no fruit. Slobby receptionist during day, the ladies at night were much more friendly but their english was poor. Only positive point is...
