This is a really great place to stay: cannot find anything negative to say at all! Our room was immaculately clean, the beds were really comfortable and there was a kettle and fridge... we were so comfortable. I've stayed at the Britannia a number of times and think it is such good value for money, and in a really convenient... More

Very clean and spacious rooms, ideal for a Family with two children of 7 and 10. Many great restaurants nearby. Super friendly hosts provided us with practical info, ideas for day trips, transport options, etc. Highly recommended!

The location was amazing!!! Close to all the restaurants and a short walk to the sunday market. The owners were very welcoming and booked us a cooking class within minutes. The room was very clean but our balcony door was not closing properly and there was noise coming from the bars across the street. But with earplugs you will be... More

Thank you for your kind review and we are glad you enjoyed your stay. We hope the bar on the corner did not cause you too much inconvenience. As this is a residential area they are required to close at 11.00pm in any case, so a good sleep can be reasonably assured. More

We stayed at the Britannia for one night after our previous hotel was not able to accommodate us for an extra night. Upon checking in, the couple that owns the guesthouse greeted us. The New Zealander immediately noticed our departure cards were not stuck to our passports so taped them in to make sure we didn't lose them. It was... More

Glad your Doi Suthep visit turned out so well with the transport arrangement falling into place so easily. I only stayed one night at the Britannia but would highly recommend it. Location is perfect and the male owner is a New Zealander and very helpful and easy to talk to. The rooms are great value and immaculate. The bathroom was fresh with minimal mould and the walls were freshly painted and free of marks.I had a little balcony... More

We had a very nice room with ensuite. It was very very clean! The owner, an Englishman and his Thai wife were very friendly and helpfully. They recommanded a good cooking class and a lovely daytrip with elephants. They serve no breakfast but you can eat breakfast next door!

Try to get a room in the Britannia. It is the optimal place to go by foot to the old city of Chiang Mai. The rooms are big and clean. Also the bathroom. The owner are very friendly and helpful. I can't write anything bad about the guest house. And the best "yummy", a nice little restaurant which offers a... More

Stayed 2 nights in The Britannia on our way back to Bangkok from Pai. To be honest, we paid approx. 600/night for the 'executive deluxe' room, but after staying in a honeymoon suite in Pai, I wasn't exactly looking forwards to it. Well I was pleasantly surprised! We had a lovely stay. The room was larger than expected with a... More

Thank you for your kind review and we are glad you enjoyed your stay despite the smelly drain which seems to be a design issue with drainage around here. Fortunately we can deal with it as problems arise and is more annoying than anything else. More

A delightful cozy place safe and clean. Tranquil and peaceful. Room smells fresh and fragrant. Nice towels, tea and coffee available, small electric jug and fridge too. The guesthouse is very well managed in every aspect. Good amenities nearby. Very welcoming owners Lachie (from New Zealand) and Ow, always helpful and friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed my 2 nights stay.
