Functionally works but under the surface, rooms need a touch up and visit from maintenance. Minimal hot water in shower and shower not properly attached to wall nor was towel rail. Despite this the staff were very friendly and welcoming. It's also on a brilliant location just outside the old city

Lovely boutique size hotel in good location. Plenty of interesting things to do in the area. Close to Night Markets. Small rooftop breakfast balcony makes a nice start to the day. Staff are very cheerful and happy to help with suggestions and directions.

Thank you so much for your visit and this 5-point review here on TripAdvisor. While I am certainly biased, I could not agree more that when staying in Chiang Mai, The Small Chiang Mai is the ‘must stay place’ if you are looking for a convenience location hotel. Thank you again and warm regards, Petcharat Boonsopa Resident Manager

Stayed here with some girlfriends at the end of a year in Thailand. Room worked for 3 people if you're willing to share beds. Clean place. Very helpful staff. Friendly and accommodating. Was a power outage when we were there (not uncommon ) and they dealt with it very quickly. Walking distance to shopping.

When we arrived at the hotel there was construction work happening so the front of the hotel had scaffolding and a black sheet over it all which sort of put us off, however when we got inside it was quite nice and decorated orientally. The room was spacious and had a nice shower and the air con was bad but...

The staff was very attentive, even the room is very nice. They have small pool at the level 3. Walking distance to the nearby night bazaar is just around 5 minutes. Worth to stay. They also provide free wifi for the visitors. Didnt manage to go to level 5 for the nice cafe with the nice view.

Location near the night market, walkable distance to old town. I booked this as price was relatively cheap, 3 nights for USD78. But.....actually, terrible. Cleanliness is the basic requirement for me to staying in a hotel. This hotel can not provide the basic. I have been arranged a room with a small window facing the dirty backyard of the next...

Over all an alright place to stay, nothing great but was pleasant spot. Pros: friendly staff, breakfast can be included, close to food and shops, around the corner is a night food court with live music and comfortable atmosphere. Tour agency located in hotel. Cons: wifi doesn't work well, no hot water in shower( don't really need but would be...

Booked here for 2 nights at the last minute. I was pleasantly surprised at the room after reading some reviews. Our room was a good size, the bathroom also. The shower was always warm with good pressure. The room was cool enough that the a/c wasn't really needed. There was complimentary robes and slippers provided. The only slight negative was...

Let me start by saying that the staff is extremely friendly and the location is very near the night market, other than that I really don't have anything good to say. The pictures are very deceiving. The room we stayed in had 2 beds (only the box spring, no mattress) the floors were extremely slippery, there was a step up...
