Baan Klang Vieng - This Hostel is in a great location in the old town a short walk to the Tha Phae gate and not to far from other attractions, we stayed for four night from the 19th Dec. Basically you get what you pay for here we had a four bed dorm on the roof with a shared bath...

I am staying at Baan Klang Vieng in a superior room with bathroom and the room is great. Well equipped with mini fridge, A/C TV, desk, wardrobe and spacious enough to move around. It's in great condition, modern and very clean. Like most guesthouses, you may have to confirm if you want your room cleaned that day. The location is...

Me and my mom were there for 5 nights in a private room with shared bathroom and we found everything fine and easy to find. The position is good, near the center and the station, only 3 km walking. The stuff was nice and friendly. The room was clean. The bathroom was almost clean but a bit messy and they...

We stayed in the guesthouse during Lot Krathong festival this year. The location was really awesome, we always had the shortest way home, were everywhere pretty fast, everything was in walking distance, really good. The room depends. First of all, the staff seems to have difficulties with the booking. When we checked in, our room was not available and instead...

I booked through Airbnb thinking it was a whole apartment because that it was how it was presented. This us a hostel but the room was a saving grace. We had a room with 3 large windows on the 2nd floor - a room bigger room than I have in my own home or have been in for the last...

Stayed here April 24-29. I had one room and my son and his wife had the room next door. Both were pleasant, large, and very clean. We arrived very early but were able to check into our rooms. The only down side was the air-conditioning. It was very hot while we were in Chiang Mai, over 100 degrees each day,...

I stayed on the older side of the building in a single bedroom with a private bathroom. Upon arrival (1130 PM) the staff (front desk guy & housekeeper) were sleeping in my bed. I guess this is the way they wait for late arrival guests. They had their phones plugged into the outlets, purse, clothes etc.it looked like they were...

Dear valuable guest, I'm really sorry for all misunderstanding and inconvenience caused you during staying in Chiangmai. We are in a transition of staff and management change since last December. Hopefully our performance will be improved soon. To express my sincere sorrow, I did refund all payment to you already. Best Regards, Baanklangvieng Owner

Photos are misleading and bathroom is disgusting. Very loud as it is based near main road. Not worth the money, moved 2 nights early to MD House which was a few dollars more expensive per night and 10x better.

We have stayed here before and loved it, but it has changed a bit since our last visit including a hostel being added. Pros: Deluxe double is huge and great for a longer stay Position is excellent, short walk to Thae Pae Gate and all old city attractions Staff friendly and helpful lots of bars/eateries in the surrounding lanes Great...

I booked my room through hotel.con. Pictures on line and ads are a complete lie. It was the darkest dirtiest place I stayed in. I have been traveling for 3 months. The pictures are misleading. Do not stay here. Room is small dark and dirty. Shared bathroom is gross. Asked to see other rooms but all where bad. Only reason...
